Life Back To Normal

Or at least, normal as it can be in Bama. My foreman is back to work, and I have been catching up on the all the things that I needed to do, and some more. Business has picked up a little bit. Hopefully it stays that way. It is quite nice getting off of work at a descent time.

I do have some bad news though. I am not going to be able to make it back this weekend for H8P. If you don't know what I am talking about see here H8P. This will be the first one that I have missed in 7 years. I was there for the first one, and we even made it when Tammy was in a wheelchair. I have been trying to scrap up some extra money to make it back this weekend, but it just ain't going to happen. It sucks growing up, and becoming an adult. I probably will call in though for a party call sometime that night. To all of you that are going to be there take a lot of pics. I know Shump will. I figure I will be getting a call from Shump about this. This is just the breaks. We were really looking forward to making it back for the first time since we left, but it ain't going to happen.

We all went to Bingo the other night, and everybody but Tammy & I won. We even won some pork chops that we cooked up tonight. It was a good time and cheap, but they had some weird games. The best thing was they had $1.75 beers there. I tried to catch me a little buzz, but it didn't happen. We went with some friends, and took the kids. Alabama lets kids to a lot at a younger age. Heather doesn't even have to take driving school to get her permit. She just has to take the test. So guess what we are about to be doing. Now I have to start looking for a tank for her to start driving.

Talk to y'all later.

Friends and the Internet

I have come to know many friends in my life. Some come and some go. One of my long time friends is blogging now at Casman. I have know this guy since 1st grade. In fact I met him just before first grade when my mother married my step-father. I met him when I was out riding my bicycle. This was when kids could ride far from the house, and the parents didn't have to worry about kidnappers or perverts. So any ways back to the story. I met Casman, and a long lasting frendship ensued. My mom still has pictures of us busting up bricks to fill the holes for the post of the new fence we were putting up. Yes, I am taking brides to post or not post them. Let me just say, he used to have a whole lot more red hair on top of his head. He and I have been close friends at times in our lives, and sometimes we wouldn't see each other from years. Hell I don't even know if we saw each other in high school more than three times. The one thing that has kept us in touch though is definitely through another friend of both of ours. You guessed it Shumpy. Shump has introduced me to many of his friends, and I have become close to a whole lot of people, because of him. Now Casman and I are blogging. Probably because of Shump. There are many people I have met of the net, and never seen in person. I still have the same feeling that they are my friends, even though we have never met. I did get to meet one of the people that I have talked to in the blog world this last week. Chuck was down here for a conference, and we met up for a beer. Of course, I had my whole family in tow. They set over at another table, and ate with some other friends. Chuck and I got to put a name with the face, and downed a couple of beers, and the traditional tequilla shot. It was good times, but not nearly long enough. I wanted to sit there, and tie one on with him, but we come back to me being the bossman at work, and had to get home so I could get up in the morning. The whole point to this journey down memory lane is that the electronic world we live in, and the internet has made the world a whole lot smaller, and a better way to stay in touch with old friends, and new ones.

How about them COWBOYS. Did they put on a whipping or what? T. O. finally got some TD's. The only thing that sucks about that game is that I missed the second half. I was scared in the first half. We all went to The Shrimp Festival today. I think I gained about 10 lbs today. I had gator on a stick (yum), shrimp on a stick (not bad), a true root beer float (been craving that), and a funnel cake on the way out (not as good as Six Flag's though). So needless to say I still have yet to see T.O. get a touch down for the Cowboys. As long as they when though, I am happy.

No, I didn't get to go golfing this morning. I was a little too worn out, and needed to spend some time with the family. Hopefully this week goes a little better. As long as my foreman comes back to work Tuesday should. Hope y'all have a great week, and Shump, keeping my fingers crossed on the job hunt before the welfare runs out.

Hell Week

This week has sucked at work. My Foreman is out with an infection in his leg all this week, and won't be back until next Tuesday. So that means I am having to do 90% of the work. Our business has slowed down, but all my work is getting backed up, because I can't get to half the stuff that I am suppose to do in a day. It hasn't even helped that I have been staying at work 13 to 14 hours a day. O.K. I know quit whining, but I was just letting all 3 of my readers know that is why I haven't been blogging this week. I went into work today, but couldn't get much done, because when I am their I guess nobody can make a decision with out me. I guess that is my job, but I am hoping my crew will get like I used to be when I was in their situation. I used to make as many decisions as I could, and not bother my boss. There were a lot of times that I would not make the right ones, but my old boss always stood behind me, because I wasn't bugging him with all the little stuff. I have relayed this to my crew, but it is just easier for them I guess to make sure they don't have to make a wrong decision. Enough crying.

We went to Bay Fest down here last weekend. It is where they have about 10 stages, and have all kinds of bands show up. Friday night we saw Gretchen Wilson. She is so fine, and we had a moment there where ours eyes locked, or she could have been looking at the crazy ass people behind me, but I am always going to say we had our little moment. JK, but the girl is fine, and has an awesome voice. It was crowded as shit. Saturday, we had two games. The girls won both games, and the SBQ got a home run. Then we ended up going back out to Bay Fest to see Gary Allen. It was pretty good, but I staid back in the back. We had about 11 teenagers with us. Tammy and all the girls went up to the front, and got to see everything from the front row. I was tired of the crowd. I have come to find out, when I am around that many people I feel like I need to kick somebody's ass. I get tired of rude or pushy people. So I staid in the back so in case if anybody got lost or tired they had a centralized place to come back to, and I didn't have that far to go to the bathrooms, or beer stand. I got up early Sunday morning and went golfing. I actually did a lot better this weekend. When I got back from golfing, you guessed it, we went back out to Bay Fest. We got to see Lynyrd Skynyrd. They were awesome, but again, we had to get up front. When will I learn that I don't like being around that many people so close to me. We got through. All in all, last weekend was great, but too many damn people. It made Monday hard to go to work, but when your the boss, you can't lay up at home like a crack whore just because you are a little hung over. It sucks being the boss sometimes.

We are not going to go through what all happened this week again. I will spare you the griping. I went into work again this morning. Then off to the softball fields again today. The girls had two games again today. They won the first game, but lost the second game. One of their friends got picked up to pitch against them, and needless to say, she is a pretty good pitcher. The SBQ got picked up to play on another team in between her two games, and she scored a home run. It was a beautiful hit. I am going to have to get her some hitting lessons though, because in the her teams second game she struck out swinging both up to bats. Her timing was off. So I will be looking for her a hitting coach. Once she gets that down she will be well rounded. She is doing great. We just got a little fine tuning to do.

The girls are wanting to go to the Shrimp Festival in Gulf Shores tonight. I am hoping I can get out of it, but it is looking doubtful. They just want to keep going, and going. I have to get up early tomorrow morning for golf. Yes, I said golfing. I can't hardly believe it either, but I am getting to golf two weeks in a row. Maybe my game will pick up a little bit.

Well, I hope you and yours are all doing good, and remember GO COWBOYS.

Crazy Ass News

The events that are happening in the news is Crazy. First you have this Looney going into this Amish school, and kills those kids, because he was thinking about molesting kids again. This dude definitely needed to be killed. Then, I get a call from one of my mechanics this morning telling me he had to remove his kid from school, because some idiot decided to go into the school with a gun. What triggers these guys? Some loon pulls this prank so they are sitting at home watching it on the news, and a light bulb comes on in their head. Are they acting like stupid teenagers who jump off a bridge, because they see everybody else doing it, when they see these stories, and say to themselves "That looks like a good idea. I think I will go kill some kids." WTF. If life is that bad go and put a muzzle in your mouth and pull the trigger. Don't harm innocent kids to get your 5 minutes of fame before you commit suicide by Cops. I believe this is all happening, because society has gotten too pansy assed on people who do wrong. We look the other way when a woman or child is being abused. Saying to ourselves "Its not my place to do something." We don't kick some one's ass when they do us wrong anymore. We sue or worse yet we pull a gun, and shoot everybody around, because these punks don't even know how to use a gun properly. We don't stand up for our rights as Americans, because we are scared we are going to offend someone. I am getting real fed up with this. Now I am not going to go out, and shoot people, but I definitely been telling people lately how it is, and not holding anything back.

Enough ranting about the crazies. Work is going pretty good, and the family is all happy right now. Tammy is keeping busy with all the softball stuff, and helping a friend of hers out with picking up her kids from school. The SBQ is doing better in school. We have one teacher we need to straighten out, but I have unleashed Tammy on her so she will be coming around. The Shop is starting to come around. I definitely can tell we are heading in the right direction. It just needs a little more fine tuning. All my guys, and one girl are enjoying working there again since I have shown them that it is not really that hard if you do the right thing first.

One more News bit that I enjoyed was that Bush signed a bill to build a fence on the border. Now I know this won't keep all the illegals out, because they will find another way around it. It might slow them down for a while, and it will bring some more jobs. That is if they really do build it. We have to do something, because I am tired of having to push buttons just to let machines know that I speak English, and prefer for everything I have to interact with to be in English.

I got a little wordy tonight, but I felt like I needed to speak my mind tonight, and not just tell y'all about what is going on here in AL.

Not Enough Punishment

I can't believe that all they are going to suspend Haynesworth only five games. At least, they are suspending him without pay. I think they should kick him out of the league for life. I can understand if you get mad, and hit the guy or tackle him after the play, but kick a man in the head after he out played you. The big guy from the Baltimore Ravens that comutates on the sidelines had it right yesterday. That was a cowardly act. What are you going to do. I am real surprised that the NFL actually suspended him more than 2 games though. Its probably a good thing that I am not the commsioner.

Today was a Fuck off day at work. I actually did a lot of work, but not as much as I should have. I took a couple of customers to breakfeast, and moved a lot of trucks around on the yard to take back some of the parking space for my department. The new truck department has ordered a lot of new trucks in due to the new style engines coming out in 2008. So they have been parking their trucks all in my spaces for my trucks that my shop has to work on. I knew if I left it up to them it would never get done. After getting some things straight at work I went and got my hair cut. Tammy found me a new place to get my hair cut. They didn't do to bad of a job. You figured as short as I get my hair cut I wouldn't be that picky about it, but I am. My hair is so thick that if you don't cut it right it looks like shit the next day. So I guess tomorrow I will find out if I will be going back to this place. As long as it looks good tomorrow I will return.

I am cooking my first pork loin tonight. It is nice getting off work before six at night. I have to take advantage of these times when they come up, because they don't come as much as they used to since I am the big hefe at work now. We are watching Benchwarmers. This movie is so halirous. It cracks my shit.

I am defenitely loving the laptop at home that work provided me with. I love watching TV and surfing the net or Blogging. Opps sorry, I mean Web logging. You happy now Link? This movie actually reminds me of guys of some guys back home. They will know who they are.

Tammy is actually in the kitchen finishing up supper. My evil plan has come full circle. She gets tired of me asking questions so she takes over for me. Playing dumb can be so much fun.

Well supper is almost ready, and I am starving. Tune in next time kids.

This Given Sunday.

I got through month end yesterday. I woke up this morning about 7am to check my numbers. We did fall short, but only about 3k dollars. I little better than I thought we would do, but not as good as we should have. We just didn't get busy until the last week, and that is a little too late. Oh well, there is always next week.

Shumpy and Link called me yesterday about 7:30am. They were feeling no pain, and hitting the The Gold already that morning. They kicked it up the night before. I also found this neat little site while looking up "The Gold". The Gold Inside was pretty interesting. I have always wondered this also.

The Cowboys kicked ass today. I told y'all that the Nashville curse was over. We not only scored there today; we kicked their ass. The team really looked good today. We have a tough battle next weekend against The Eagles. Man, if we can put them away it will make it a lot easier for the rest of the season.

I didn't really do anything else today. I took a nap after the game, and marinated the pork loin that I am going to cook tomorrow night. Just another lovely day in Alabama. Yee Ha. I do miss Texas, but this is opprotunity is really going to help us get on top. I like it here, but it is no Texas. You can take the cowboy out of Texas, but you can't take the Texas out of the Cowboy. Mark my words. We will return one day.

Well BE COOL.

Month End Sucks

Quick post. Month End sucks. Trying to hit all these numbers my company wants us to hit is a bitch. We have gotten a lot busier, and it is going to get better. The business that we are taking in this week is a little too late. If I can pull this off this month I will be surprised. I will be working like hell, and not posting the rest of the week, but I will catch everybody up this weekend.

Thanks to Shumpy for the plug on his site. We should be making it to H8P. Hope to see y'all there.

Go Cowboys!!!!

A SUNDAY WITHOUT COWBOYS

Well, it will be a Sunday without the Dallas Cowboys. It almost makes me want to stay in bed all day. Too bad I can't. I haven't slept in in ages. I got up this morning around 4am. Watched a little bit of T.V., and went back to bed. I got up around 8am. I went to Wally World to check on a weedeater, and dream a little bit. I just love that store. I walked up and down most of the aisles. I stayed out of the clothing departments, but hit just about every other department. I have now found the clearance aisle in this Wal-Mart. I always have to check that aisle out. You can actually find some good buys there sometimes. After Wally World, I came home and mowed the lawn. I can't wait for payday, because I really need that weedeater.

The Softball Queen had another tournament yesterday. They lost their first game, so that meant that we had to work our way through the loser bracket. They won their second game, and then had a break. So all the mothers had a great idea to go feed them. Well what happens when you feed teenagers in the middle of the hot day? Your right. They all come back and feel sick. So needless to say, they lost their third game, and were elminated from the tournament. They should have won, but nobody was hitting yesterday. The SBQ did get the game winning hit in their second game. She actually has an average. I need to work on her timing. We are definitely hitting the batting cages this week. The one hit she did get was beautiful though. She made great defense plans in all the games. She played third and short stop. I was extremely proud of her. Tammy is the team mom and is doing a great job. She is worn out today. I have let her sleep all morning. It is keeping her busy, and that is a good thing.

I have got a full work week next week. We have to basically do as much work this week as much as we have done all month to make our numbers. I now we can do it as long as the work load stays with us. This town is weird. It slows down when it should be busy. We wil do it some how. Probably will just have to work a lot to get there. I am ready to get it where we have hit our numbers at least a day or two before the end of the month.

Watching the Nascar Race in Dover right now since the Cowboys aren't playing today. They play the Titans next week. We should be able to beat them as long as the Tuna doesn't make any stupid decisions. They definitely got the talent to win.

I am not really going to do much more today but watch the race, and rest a little bit before this next week. I hope you all have a great week, and if someone has a job for Shumpy let him know, or donate money. I know he will except either. I know he is rested and ready to work after his vacation. It looks like they had a great time. Go and check out his pics on his site. Too bad he can't make money off his site, because it is one of the best blog sites that I have seen. Good luck on the job search buddy.

Just another day

Well it was just another day in Bama. Went to work, went to a school meeting on the softball team, and came home and worked again. Same old same old. One good thing that came about was that tonight The Unit and Smith premiered tonight. I have been waiting forever for these two shows to start. I am so addicted to T.V. shows its not even funny. My second vice is now is working on the laptop while watching T.V. Technology has ruined me.

My good buddy Shumpy just got back from his cruise and it looks like he had a blast. He even sent me a picture that I don't think too many people are going to see. I know he did it just to make me jelous. Which I am. I would love to go on vacation. This boy goes on more vacations in a year then anybody I know. You gotta love him for it. I know he and Big Dog had a great time.

Well Rosie Commented last night that I should have responded to her comment last night first because she is a lady. I am sorry about that Rosie. I should have been more of a gentleman, but I was responding back in order of the emails coming in. I will remember to keep it ladies first. Of course now Shumpy is going to be mad, because he knows he is my bitch. JK.

Well that's it from Bama land. Until next time.

BE COOL.

NEW CHANGES

Well maybe ya'll have noticed. I have switched over to the new beta version of blogger. It makes it a lot easier for a computer illiterate like me to change the appearance of my site. I have played with a little bit, and think I am going to enjoy the new way. It is hard for me to change things around though. I am not real thrilled about change. Even though in the last few months I have changed about everything in it. We have moved to another state, took a job I didn't believe I wanted, and yes I don't goof off as much as I used to. Change is good sometimes, but not good others. You just have to pick and choose. Hopefully you choose right. Well I got to get to bed. I worked too much on business tonight, and on changing the site around a little bit. So I have to make this one short.

Congrat's before for I go to Shakey Dave on him and his wife having their baby daughter in August. You will have to send me some pics. I promise not to post them.

Tim it was good to hear from you also. I will post more

And last, but not least Rosie. Keep reading and commenting. Hope everything is going good for you.

BEING CONNECTED AT HOME CAN BE A CURSE

Since I am connected at home now, I will be bringing a lot more work home. That way I don't have to stay at work so late at night, but it also means that I have to do everything a little bit slower than at work. My secured network keeps dropping me when I am in he middle of doing business stuff. So I have to keep signging. I am not the most patient person, as some of ya'll know. So I get a little frustrated when I am on work's network.

Today went pretty good at work. I found out that "Little E" is going to build a race track down here pretty soon. I can't wait for that. I will probably get a job promotion before the first race is held down here though. I did find out though that I will be able to go to Talladega in the spring with a vender. Starting to gain some of the benefits of the job promotion. I can't wait until the race in the spring. I know there is one in October, but the vender that is going to take us only does it during the spring race. Which when its free you know I am not going to bitch.

The Cowboys play the fagskins, oops, I mean the redskins. We better beat the socks off of them Sunday. I just pray it is not going to be like last year where we lost to them in the last few minutes. I will be praying and wearing my old Dallas Cowboy T-shirt and not the new one I wore last Sunday.

We went to the Softball Queen's practice tonight for one of her teams. She is in two different tournaments this weekend, but it looks like we will only be playing in one of them due to one of the coaches didn't get us registered in one of the tournaments. They were going to be at different times, but still two in one weekend is a little much. We have a meeting with the school about her playing this year for the high school next week. I am interested in hearing what they have to say. They went to state semi-finals last year. I haven't really been impressed with the talent out here. I was worried that she might be a little behind the curve out here, but she is one of the better players. I know she will do good here.

Well gotta sign off so I can get to bed. BE COOl & GO COWBOYS.

BACK AGAIN IN BAMA

Well, I doubt there is anybody out there reading this anymore, but I am going to start writing again. I have finally gotten connected here in Bama now. It has been one hell of a ride since we have moved here. I got a job transfer, and a promotion if ya'll didn't know. We have been here since the end of July. I have taken over one of my company's store. I was in shambles. I came out in June to clean it up and interview people for the position I am in now, and some how ended up getting the job that I was interviewing people for. It was pretty scary moving three states away, but it has turned into a pretty good time.

Each month it is getting better at work. It is finally turning around. I am under staffed though. I will make this work. Even if it kills me. I am learning so much that I didn't know about this job. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel though.

I finally got to get on the net and see what everybody is up to. The Blonde hasn't posted in a while, and Chuck as had to quit blogging. I understand his reasons, but it seems my world is getting a little smaller. Shumpy is on a cruise right now. I hope him and Big Dog have a great time. He and I have been playing phone tag for the last month.

The Softball Queen is adjusting to the area fine. She is already on two different teams and tries out for the high school team in November. She has found a little friend here, and seems to be making more.

Tammy is adjusting, but misses home. She has been in the hospital twice since we have been here. She has found a Bingo hall though and won some money last weekend.

I haven't gotten to play any golf yet, but hopefully I get to Sunday. Bama isn't too bad, but the people are a little to laid back. I am a very aggressive person when it comes to work, and I expect everybody else to be. These people down here just want to get by. I have never seen anything like it. I am motivating most of my staff, and showing them what can come about if everybody does there job. They were so used to just getting by. We are getting things turned around, and this job is going to make me a hero with my company (hopefully.) The good thing is if this thing doesn't work out my sciences are good for 5 years and I can always go to nursing school. I haven't given up on that idea yet. We will see what happens at the end of this year.

Well enough blah, blah from me. Hope everyone out there is doing good, and don't worry I am and always will be a True Texan no matter where I live.

On a sad note the COWBOYS lost Sunday. I couldn't believe it. They came out like gang busters, and then didn't wake up as usual until the last two minutes of the game. Which you can't win them all in the last two minutes. You have to play the whole game. Deadsoe again has a problem finding the open man because he is probably not the first one of the play to get the ball. Three interceptions? What is the Can of Tuna thinking? I guess that is why they pay him more for one game then I make in a year. What do I know though. I am just a dumb ol' Cowboy fan. I am still a fan through the thick and thin, but something has got to give with Deadsoe.

Well I hope somebody reads this.

Go Cowboys!!!!

Heading to Bama

Well I found out today that I will be flying out to Alabama tomorrow. I have to go to our Mobile dealer. They have had two Service Managers quite right in a row, and their paperwork is all screwed up out there. So the Big Boss from corp. Called me today and asked me if I would fly out there for two weeks. I head out tomorrow morning. What fun. The good thing will be that I will probably get to meet up with The Chuckster and have a few beers. That would be pretty cool getting to meet up with a big celebrity like him. I mean he has his own shirts and everything. Na it will be just a couple of country boys, or like the stalker on his site put it, " a couple of rednecks." Well I got to pack and get everything ready for tomorrow. I will post out there if I get a chance.

Everybody is Leaving

It seems I was not the only person having problems last week. I thought I just couldn't remember how to post pictures last week, but it seems blogger was having some problems. Thank God, I thought I was getting stupid, because I was doing stuff that I had done before, but none of it was working. One of my favorite sites has moved. The Chuckster has moved to wordyblog. Pretty nifty looking site. I think I will be staying here though until I can afford to buy the domain "Cowboy Colby", or figure out how to move everything.
SBQ's tournament went pretty good yesterday. They won both their games and came in second. We also got done before 2pm, which was amazing. We were pretty tired and came home. I cooked supper and did laundry while the wife got rested up. I know I will make someone a good bitch one day, but I could no longer look at the place, and I had to have some work clothes. Tammy is still having a hard time with her knee. She is getting around real well, but tires out, and still has a lot of pain. What can you expect when she only had knee surgery last Wednesday.
We went down to the pool last night. It was the first night the pool had been open by our apartment since someone left a "Baby Ruth" in the pool, and I am not talking about the candy bar type. They had to shock the hell out of the pool. Either some kid was in there with non-swimming diapers, or someone pulled a prank one night. Oh well, I know we have swam in dirtier water growing up.
The MAVS won again last night. That makes two down, and two to go. I sure hope they can pull this off. As you all know, I am not a big basketball fan, but my corporation's head-quaters is in New Braunfels , which is close to SA home of the Spurs, and when they won the championship last year that was all we saw when we logged on to our computers, and all they talked about for the next month. So it is pay back time.
Work went alright today. They rolled out a new program for work, and it seems to be working well. Not doing much tonight just relaxing and surfing the web a little. Well I got to get out of here and go to the grocery store. Everybody root for the MAVS.

Life in the Softball World

Well I got up yesterday morning and posted. Aren't ya'll all proud of me. Look, I am posting two days in a row. The world is about to end I guess. I dropped the Princess off with my mother yesterday morning. She went out of town with her for some Mary Kay Business. Yes my mom drives a pink Cadillac. I came back home and got everything loaded up for the tournament. I have a life saver that I take with me to tournaments. I have a John Deer Wagon that I carry everything in from the truck to the fields. I bought it several years ago, and it has saved me back pain and agony ever since. I can load the E-Z UP, cooler, all the chairs, and the bat bag, and make it all in one trip. It is one of the best things that I have ever bought. We went and watched the Wild One bowl for a little while and then headed out to the softball fields. It was hotter than hell. We got everything set up and waited for our first game. The SBQ lost their first game, which they shouldn't have. They did win their second game though. They almost gave it away. They have to get better at hitting during the games. They all do great in practice, but when it comes to the games the just dink the ball for some reason. Hopefully today they will be over the jitters of the first tournament and start hitting like we all know they can. We have two more games today. There is no way we will get first place in this tournament since we didn't beat the first team, but we will more than likely get second. There only five teams so it is only round robin tournament.
It looks like we will be going to Oklahoma next weekend. Nobody has signed up for the tournament we were suppose to be in next weekend here in town. So we are probably going to play some Yankees above the Red River line. They should be interesting.
Well we didn't race last night. Mike took the car out Friday night to Hot lap the car since we put a new front end under it, and ended up putting into the wall in practice. More money we got to sink into it, but ,oh well, that is part of racing. It took out the fuel cell, and the new rear bumper that was just put on.
Well I got to get so I can get everything ready for the tournament today. Hope everybody has a great weekend.

Trying

I have been trying to get a pic to upload for three or four days. I have been having problem with blogger to upload them. I thought it was me, and my little knowledge of how to do anything on the computer, but this morning shows that I was reading the instructions correctly, and it wasn't my slightly retarded computer skills that wasn't working. Oh well, I got them going now.
The top picture is of our new edition to the family. I proudly introduce ya'll to Scooter Brown. I call him this so when I am drunk as a skunk, also know as "Cooter Brown", we can be related. No actually I have always wanted to name a dog scotter. He is definitely a character. When we got him he was only six weeks old and weighed two pounds. Now that he has found where his dog bowl is and where Matti's dog bowl is, and he weighs about 5 lbs. So needless to say, we have put him on a diet. He is going to be a lot of fun.
This is going to be a busy summer. The Softball Queen has started tournament season, and we are going and blowing. We have a tournament in Mansfield this weekend. After tonight's game I have to haul ass out to the race track to help my buddy Big Mike with his sprint car (that is the second picture). That is me working on it after the heat races. Then it is off to the rest of the tournament tomorrow. Now back to racing. We are currently looking for sponsors for our race team. Mike is one hell of a driver. This is his first year racing the sprint car, and is doing pretty well. As you all know though it is costly. We are taking any sponsors right now. The more money you give, which by the way is tax deductible, the bigger the graphics with your company's name is on the car. If any of you are feeling like you need to get rid of some extra cash, or need a good tax deduction let me know. I am not to the point of begging yet, but it is close. Getting sponsors is a lot harder than I thought it would be. I have gone to a few of my customer's so far, and have come up with nothing yet. The one sure person I went to said he couldn't do it, because his son just got into racing. He said he felt for us, but was dumping a load of money into his son's car right now. I understood, but was sure hoping he would have helped out.
Tammy had knee surgery Wednesday. So I have been playing nurse around here lately. She is doing real good though. The doctor sent her home without crutches. She is already up and walking around. She tore her meniscus. We caught it pretty early so there was not much damage. They scoped it and repaired it.
I have decided to go back to school in the second session of summer. I was going to take the whole summer off, but I am ready to get back and get this all over with. I apply in August to the Nursing Program; so wish me luck. I won't find out if I made it until December. I am pretty confident I will make it, but there are usually a lot of people applying.
Well I have to get everything ready for the tournament today. Yell at ya'll later.

BE COOL.

Back in the Saddle Again

Well, as most people thought I am back with Tammy. Before everybody starts boo hooing, and crying, there are a few changes for the better. For one, she and I are getting along great now. Not to mention the sex is great now. She has seen the road without this great of man, and has come around. We both have been working at it real hard. I get to go out and have a good time with out her, and sometimes with her. She has realized that I am not out to just get a piece of ass, and we are both learning how to communicate a lot better. I am sorry to all those women whose hearts started to patter after they heard the news on the last post, but its true I am off the market again. Of course, when I was it seemed like I was in that corner of the market nobody shops on. I really didn't try to date in that time. I was just looking to finishing the end of the semester of school, and relaxing a bit. Of course if I wanted to relax I shouldn't have moved back in with my parents. My mom about drove me crazy. It was like being married still, which I was of course, but I wouldn't have been able to stay there much longer anyways. I moved out of their house when I was 17 and I haven't lived there since. I have staid with them when I was in town sometimes, but most of the time I staid at a friends house or some dirt leg's house. I appreciate everybody's concern about me going back to my wife, but everybody that has been around her has seen the change. I am so proud of her. She is doing so good, and we are having a great time.

The Softball Queen made tournament team. Like that was a surprise. So we will be at practices or tournaments for the rest of the summer. I enjoy it though. She is one of the best players out there also. She has improved so much over last year, not that she needed to.

We had a pretty good Holiday this weekend. I cooked fajitas this weekend. My first time. They turned out great, but I cooked too much. I even sent some home with a buddy of ours to his party that night to watch the MAVS , and he brought the left-overs to my BIL's cookout on Monday. Speaking of that the MAVS better do a better job than they did last night. If they play like that again. They can kiss it all goodbye. Yeah, like I know what I am talking about when it comes to basketball. I only like the play-offs. I only watch the last few minutes of every game. If football was on, I wouldn't even watch the basketball play-offs.

It sucked going back to work after a holiday and having to close out the month. I did enjoy having the long weekend even if we didn't go on our annual canoe trip. I knew if we skipped a year it was going to be hard getting things back on track now. Especially since everybody has families and all.

Well that's about it for now. Yell at ya'll later. Oh Yeah, if anybody has any job opportunities, Shumpy
is looking for employment again. So if you have a computer job, let him know.

Be Cool.

I almost forgot we got a new addition to the family. I introduce ya'll to Scooter Brown. Our new mut. That is his pic on top of the post.

GOING THROUGH THE BIG "D" & I DON'T MEAN DALLAS!!

It is official, I have left Tammy. I know people have heard this before, but now lawyers are involved and everything. I will post a little how everything is going, but it is not going to be too detailed due to how the crazy woman is acting. I really don't know if I should say anything at all just because how nasty it is going to get. By the way, unless you are talking to me I would appreciate it if ya'll didn't tell anything about me to anybody. This woman has tricks. It is almost scary.

I am doing alright. I am living in a disclosed location that only a few know. I will be out and about once I get a few more things lined out with the lawyers. Notice its pleural. Not going to hold back on this one. I could only take so much.

I got most of the stuff knocked out today to get the ball rolling. I am going to study now. I have two test this week. One next week, then finals.

Ya'll BE COOL cause I'm going to be.

Time For The Monthly Post

Well, I did it again. Actually my PC went down again. I had to reload everything. I am saving my pennies for a Dell right now. Well, March ended pretty good, but April has been a bitch. Work has been OK, but we are still trying to get caught up from vacation, going to training, and just everybody taking off sick or what not. Tammy and I are now in a custody battle for the "Little Man". CPS took him from his mom for drug use, and we can not get custody of him Yet!!! I stress yet. I have contacted the lawyers, and are waiting for them to tell me how much this is going to cost, and how much time. With all the connections I have acquired over the years, you would think that this would be a walk in the park. NO!!!!!!!!! We are having to deal with a power hungry little CPS worker, who is fresh out of college, and doesn't have a clue what is the right place for her ass, much less a child. We raised this child from the time he was 2 months old until he was 2 years old. His mother wanted to start being a mother again, so we came to an agreement as long as we still got to have him every other weekend we would go along with her raising the child. Now in hindsight, that was a bad decision. Her new boyfriend and their wonderful family have stepped in and screwed the whole deal up. Not to mention the drug use, they have manipulated The Little One's mother that we are bad people. I should have just fought for custody when we had him in our care. I let the whole family talk me out of it then, but now I am going in with guns drawn. (expression only). The lawyer feels good about it, but the only thing standing in our way is the CPS. She wants to straighten the family out. It cracks me up. She takes the child away because the mother can't make good choices, but then lets her make the decision on where the child should go. He is now staying with her boyfriends great grandmother, that he doesn't know or ever been around. It aggravates the shit out of me, but I am trying to stay as calm as possible. The next few months are going to be trying, but I will try to keep ya'll posted.

Shumpy is down in Cabo this weekend. They are celebrating his little brother's B-day down there. Lucky bastard. That boy has more luck than a leprechaun with a pot of gold. Hope he has a great time, doesn't drink the water. I doubt he will be drinking the water down there though.

Yesterday we went to the a birthday party for Tammy's niece's oldest. We will refer to him as "Head." I swear this kid's head is the same size as when he was born. His body just finally grew into it. I love that little to death. He is quite a character, and he is about to break me. He started school this year, and was getting into a lot of trouble. So I came up with the bright idea that if he was good all week, and came home with all greens, I would give him $5 a week. He kind of struggled at the first, but lately he is one of the best kids in the class. His little brother starts next year and he wants the same deal. I am going to have to get a second job just to support all my nieces and nephews for being good in school. I love to do it though. It makes them so happy, and their mother lets them spend it on what they want. Mostly candy and toys.

School is going pretty good with me. It is tough though taking two science course at the same time. The semester is about over though. I apply for nursing schools in August. So wish me luck.

Happy Eater to all.

Vacation Is Almost Over

It has been great, but it is almost over. I have learned another lesson about blogging tonight though. Always save your work, because you never know when you are going to be a dumb fuck and push the wrong button. I had a post all the way done, and was going to spell check it. The pop-up blocker came up and I told it that this site was safe. Then when I allowed it, it tried to go to another site or something and I lost my whole post. Oh well, Take two.

The vacation has been pretty good. I have definitely enjoyed the time off, and having the Little Man over all week. We took him home today, and I am already missing him. We had a blast this week. We played everyday, and did a lot of running around together. We took him on the TRE yesterday. He loved it. Now for the second trick for the night here are some pics on my Flickr site. It was so much fun watching how excited he got about riding on a train. I also have a short film we took with the digital camera I got for my wife for Valentine's Day that I will put on here once I figure out how to load it onto the site. We rode from Downtown Cowtown to The Big D. We got off the train and had lunch at Spaghetti Warehouse. We even got to eat in the trolley car in the middle of the restaurant. He had blast. We reboarded the train and went back to Ft Worth. You can tell we are getting older, because by the time we got back we were worn out. We didn't even make it out for St. Patty's Day. This is the one holiday a year I never miss. I have been out of country and missed Christmas, but I have never not celebrated St. Patty's Day. Oh well, there is always a first for everything. The little man was getting over being sick, and still feeling up his pull-ups, which he usually doesn't wear, but he had the runs. We are also running low on funds right now. Shumpy made it out though. He has some great picks on his website. It looks like they had a great time.

Tomorrow I have to fix the four wheeler, and maybe we can go mudding. I finally got all the parts for it. I am going to get up in the morning and try and get it going. Cross your fingers.

I am not ready for my vacation to be over, but I know the pile of paperwork on my desk is probably falling on the floor by now. I go to warranty school this week also. So it will be a busy ass week trying to get caught back up and be gone from work another three days. I also have a test Thursday.

Well that's it for right now. Hope everybody had a great St. Patty's Day.

BE COOL.

One More Day Until The Mini-Vacation

I can't wait, but it seems like work is getting busier, and I can't get enough done before I go on vacation. I left so much at work undone today, and I am hoping I can get it all done before tomorrow.

I had to take Tammy to the nuerologist today. They are changing up her Med's again. Hopefully this will be a good thing. She is pain a lot more lately and just doesn't have the engergy. Good news though because they are fixin' to release the Medication she was on last year, that seemed to be doing a lot of good. They had to pull it from the market because someone died. I know it sounds scary, but the guy that was on it also had AIDS. So yes people, it is not a good thing to take an immune suppressor when you already have AIDS. The same people that made Vioxx made this medicine, so they were scared and pulled it off the market. There have been no deaths in Europe. There is always some risk with new medications, but the benefits she receives from the medicine is worth it. Now hopefully we won't have any problems with the insurance company on this one. That is another story I really don't want to get into.

I got off work tonight, and took the Softball Queen to practice tonight. We still have to do a little fine tuning, but that girl can hit. She has got a great arm to. She will start playing with the high school team next year. So she is going to play one more year of Rec ball again.

The little one was being a winy butt out there. I didn't bring any jackets and the cold front or just cold winds were blowing in. Thank God I carry a blanket in the truck.

He is over there watching Madagascar again for the 100th time. He loves that movie.

Nothing else really going on. Just getting ready for the vacation to start.

Hope everybody's Monday didn't go like mine at work, but what do you expect days just before vacation. I hope the place is still standing when I get back next week.

SORRY TO ALL

Sorry, to all those that I drunk dialed last night. I was in rare form. I started out last night cooking some supper, and I got the great idea to have a Crown and Dr. Pepper. You all know how it goes. The first one tasted so good, I just had to have a couple more. I should have ate some of the supper I cooked, because I ended up going out and meeting Shump for a couple of beers and a couple of shots. We actually left the bar at a reasonable time, but the drinking didn't stop there. We ended up going back to my place and setting up the new computer, that finally is fixed. It seems after two mother boards and one hard drive, maybe it will stay working now. Shump got my wireless working. Now the kids and I don't have to fight over the computer. You should have seen us. We were so drunk. It took us a litte while to get it all set up and configured.

Shump ended up going home, and I guess I started calling old buddies severly drunk. So if I called you last night, or should I say early this morning, I deeply apologize.

We went and picked up the little one today. I am on Spring break this week, and I am going to take a few days off. The softball queen lives with us now, and she is on spring break also. So after I get the jeep running again, we are definitely doing some 4-wheeling this week. I am really looking forward to this week. No school. It has gotten real tough this semester, but these are my hardest classes from here on out.

Well, I hope everybody has a good week.

BE COOL.

BEEN A LONG TIME

It's been along time since I have posted, but I'm back. I know I have said this befoe. Well, Fuck You. Here I am. I am not going to promise that I will write all the time, but I will try and do as much as I can. Shumpy finally came over and hooked up my wireless. It is still not secure, so anybody who lives arond me can get on, but oh well. I will fix that.

Rosie I hope you are still out there.

School is kicking my ass. I am taking two science class right now. I am feeling the pain.

I will write more tomorrow. I am tooo drunk right now too continue.

BE COOL.
