99

99.Almost there.Well, I haven’t been on in a while. I got a new promotion at work, and I have been busy as hell. We also moved the same weekend. Last night I finally got the Internet hooked up. I felt like a true hero after that. It was a bitch, but I prevailed. At first, I was installing the software to get the DSL going. Guess what? That’s right. It would register the modem. I could see it was getting out to the Internet, but it wouldn’t get to the PC. So I call our buddies in India. Finally when I get someone on the phone, my wife decides that she, and the girls are leaving. So little man, and I are there alone. He is in his high chair eating his supper. Actually he is squishing it, throwing it on the phone, and I am trying to talk to someone that can barely speak English, and has a strong accent. I felt like I was going to have to pull all my hair out. Victory was mine, and after talking to two people from our non-cow eating brothers, they finally registered my modem manually. We had access to the free world again. Free to blog and look and naked people. Which I did none of last night. As soon as we had connection I got off there, and played with Lil Man. There was no way he was going to let me surf the Web. So I wasn’t even going to try. We had a blast playing with his planes, and new little basketball goal. I am quite grateful that I was frustrated, and didn’t waste time on the web last night.

All the above was written on the 15th of these month. You can tell by the amount of time in between post, and finishing this post I haven't had much time to post. I finally got my air card from work. So now I will be able to post while riding the train to work. Yes folks I am a commuter now. It is quite relaxing not having to deal with the traffic. It is saving me a lot of money at the time also. Tammy takes me to the train station in the mornings. I park my car at the station by work, and drive it in from there. I have put $20 in gas in two weeks, and it looks like I won't have to put more in for 2 more weeks. The train station is only 3 miles from my work. There are a lot of people riding the train these days. Gas prices are kicking everybodys asses right now.

Well I am going to work on my hundred post. Hopefully I will have it up in the next few days.

Hang in there, and BE COOL.

We are getting close to the milestone of 100 post. I thought I was there today, but it counts drafts also that I have not published yet. So 2 more to go after today. In my 100Th post I will go over everything from the beginning to the 100Th post. Summarized of course. Stay tuned for the exciting post.

The weekend was pretty good. Worked Friday night, and went out with the boys after work for a couple of hours. Met up with Shumpy and Timmy. It was good to hang out for a little bit, and get caught up on what has been going on. Shumpy just moved into his own apartment. Yes people I said Shumpy has his own place. Not bad for a 36 year old to finally be on his own for the first time. No he hasn't always lived with mommy and daddy (there were times in between though he did), but he has never had his own place with out any roommates. I am proud of him.

Saturday got up and messed around the house. Then we took my mom out for her birthday for lunch. We came home, and put LIl Man down for a nap, and I worked on the wife's car. Then played with Lil Man when he got up. I worked Saturday night.

Sunday we went and watched Zohan. It was pretty funny. You have to like Adam Sandler to like the movie though. I LMAO though. After that I went over to BC's to help him work on the play house/fort he got for his kids. Whoever writes the instruction Manuels for that shit though should be shot. I am pretty mechanical, and those instructions were FUBAR'ed. We got most of it done though. After that we went to eat with the M-I-L. Yes we went to Texas Roadhouse again. You all know me though I am never going to pass up a free meal. My grandparents came over after that to spend some time with us, and chat. It was good to spend time with them.

That is about all for the weekend wrap up. Stay tuned to hit 100.

BE COOL.

I HATE SEX AND THE CITY

No, I didn't go to see it. I work in a Movie Tavern that has a full bar, and restaurant menu. This is my second job. Needless to say, this movie brings out the worst in women. They think because the girls in this movie are all hot and totty, that means they can be royal bitches. The women who have been going to this movie have been showing their asses extremely. I really wanted to punch one of the women last night. Her food did not come out when she expected it to. I told her I would check on it, and she tells me "You better, and hurry up." I don't even let my wife talk to me this way. The only thing that kept me from punching this fat whore out was if I did there would be one less person in the theater to help with these pretentious wanna be New Yorker Bitches. I try like hell not to work this movie. Every woman is on her own tab, and most don't tip worth a shit, if at all. I can not wait until the day we are not showing this fucking movie anymore. This movie is really making me ask the question "Is the money worth working here, and not being able to spend the time with my family?"

Digressing to my next topic. For all you cheap assholes out there. Yes waiters, and waitresses get an hourly wage. A whole $2.13 an hour. They are working for tips. This is where they make their dealing with your needy asses. So yes you need to tip. This is how they make money. So when your tab is $8.98, don't just leave a ten dollar bill. 15% of $9.00 is $1.35. Remember this is what the guy who is bringing your food, and drinks (that you are not watching being prepared) is working for. Don't be a turd, and tip less than 15%. You all work for wages, and waiters work for tips. Nobody does it because they love it, and don't need the money. They have to deal with too many pompous assholes to make that statement true.

Enough ranting for the day.

BE COOL. Death to SATC

LIFE AFTER THE HOLIDAY.

Man it sure was nice having two days off in a row. I didn't have to work at either job Sunday or Monday. It was wonderful spending time with the family, and not having to work either of those two days. Sunday we had a cook out at the house with my family. I even went to Bingo with Tammy. We didn't win shit. So it will be another year before I go to Bingo again. Monday my BIL had a cook out. We played horse shoes, and washers. We had a good time. One of the first times we didn't drink on this holiday. All in all though it was a real good time.

The only thing that sucks is that we didn't go on our canoeing trip this year again. There on some good pics of old trips on Shump's Site. I miss those times. It is just too much for all of us to get together like that with all the kids, and things going on in our life's. We had some wild and crazy times doing that annual trip every year though.

Hope everybody had a good Memorial Day Weekend. Let me know.

Start of the weekend

Worked sucked at my first job yesterday. I just couldn't get motivated. I also fell into the dream world where I thought I was going to get off work early so I could spend sometime with Lil Man. As true as always, you should not plan to get off work early at my main job, because as soon as you do something will happen, and you are stuck at work until the original time you were suppose to get off. We had a customer that was having some testing done next week, and had to get some tests done at our facility before they could go to the test site with a base line on their trucks. Well the first two trucks went as planned, but the last one had problems. The customer is a pretty big customer with other dealers, but not one of ours. We are just the only facility around that can provide some of the tests that needed to be done. Well they were up in a big roar about how the truck had to be done, but we were waiting on some numbers to come back from CAT. There were all kind of people calling, jumping through hoops to get this last truck done. Finally at the last minute we got what we wanted. Actually some people had to come in today to finish it. The morale to the story is don't plan to get off early. Just seize the opprotunity when it comes up, and you might get off early.

Everybody have a good Memorial Day Weekend, and pray for our troops. Especailly for the ones that have fallen so we can have our freedoms.

BE COOL.

BOO HOO

The Stars lost. Oh well, just a few more months and the Cowboys will be playing.

Working these two jobs is killing me. I am tired as shit. Hopefully I won't have to do it too long. I will make it through the summer, but that is about it. The extra money is nice though. I hate the time it takes away from the Lil' Man and me though.

We don't have any big plans for this weekend. Just cooking out at Mom's on Sunday, and then going over to my BIL's Monday.

Quote of the day--"The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues."

This is such a true statement.

Hope everybody has a great weekend.

GO STARS

The STARS won again Saturday. Makes the series 3-2 Wings favor. I was reading the last time a team came back from a 3-0 deficit was 33 years ago, and the time before that was 33 years. Do you see a pattern here? Let's hope so.

Work went alright this weekend. I didn't make much on Friday night, but Saturday made up for it. It is getting easier every time.

Went, and watched Ironman Sunday with the kids. It was pretty good. The Softball Queen fell asleep during the movie.

Really didn't do much else this weekend. I did get to take an hour long nap with the little one Saturday. I miss naps. He gets to take one every day. Man what a life. Eat, play, sleep, and repeat. He doesn't know how good he has it. He does enjoy it though.

I have to do the front wheel bearings on my Cheapokee tonight (pics coming later). I am going to try and get that done before the Stars start playing, but I might have to listen to it on the radio until I get done.

Hope everybody had a good weekend.

JERRY FINALLY TELLS

Yes Jerry Jones has finally set the prices for the seats in the new stadium. You can read it here Prices. They are not too bad. The only catch is being able to get a set. I think I am going to try and talk BC into trying to go in with me on season tickets, but we will have to see how things are going by August, which possiblly will be too late. I have been waiting forever for these, and I am broke as hell right now. Damn the Man! One day I will have season tickets to the greatest team ever.

Just wanted to share the news. Y'all have a great weekend.

BE COOL.

VALIDATED

Yes, that is right. I am validated at my second job now so I will be making money for me, and not my trainers. I had really good trainers, but when you got a new guy to do all the work, why not let them. I took last night and tonight off work. I am scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and next Tuesday & Thursday. Not too bad. I sure could use the extra cash. Especially, since Tammy wants to move out of Mom & Dad's. The only thing bad about work is that they already screwed up my schedule. They scheduled me to come in work @ 2:30pm, but I am at my permanent job then. I got it squared away. It just cracks me up, because they had me fill out a sheet saying when I was available. I don't think they looked at it when they made the schedule.

On to other news. I have been debating this for a long time. We are in the process of adopting a child. I will call him Little One on this blog. I won't go into details about the adoption, but from time to time you will read about the things he does on this blog with us. I have been telling stories that involved him, and haven't mentioned him due to worrying about the adoption case. I am not worried about the adoption case, I just felt guilty about not mentioning him in the stories. So from now on when I am talking about what the family is doing he is going to be mentioned.

The STARS pulled one out of their asses last night, and got a win. At least they won't have been swept. I hope they win the next three games, but Detroit is a tough team. We will see what happens.

Nothing else really going on. Saw a lot of good HNT out there today. I know I didn't put the link, but you can go to Shumpy's site, and check it out.

I got to get back to work. Yell at y'all later.

CHECK OUT THE DALLAS COWBOY NEWS UPDATES

I have added a new feature to this little blog of mine. Yes go figure. It displays current news on the Dallas Cowboys. I am just becoming a blog guru more and more everyday. I can't wait for football season to start.

Good Weekend

Well the weekend went well. I worked Friday, and Saturday at the second job. My training is almost over. It is not as hard as I thought it would be. I actually enjoy it. I had Sunday and Monday off at the second job. So it was nice to relax with the family yesterday for Mother's Day. We were going to go to the movies, but the teenagers could not get ready on time so we just took Tammy to lunch yesterday. Then she went and played bingo. She didn't win, but Friday night she won nearly $400.00 so that was cool, and really helped out. Saturday we ate breakfeast with the family at the Dixie House Cafe. The kids love it there. The waitresses spoil us. They all know us. After that I had to go to work. Tammy spent the day with her sister shopping, and garage saleing.

I validate on Tuesday at my second job. Which is good, because after that I start getting all the tips. I am ready for some cash on hand. It is a cool place to work. It gets a little hetic at times, but all in all not to shabby of a place to work.

The Stars lost again this weekend. Tonight's game is very important for us to win. We need to try and take some wind out the Wings. I am hopeing they can pull this won out. At least I will be able to watch the game tonight on TV. Me and the little will get to watch it together tonight. I can't wait to take him to his first sporting event.

I really need to get back to posting pics on this site, but I am just getting where I am posting semi-regularly. I have a lot of pics to post so I will try and work on that later when I can get the PC at home to work.

Later Dudes, and Dudettes.

GO STARS

2 JOB THING

Yes, I am working a second job now. Picked up a waiting job to make some extra cash. I am still in training right now, but next week they let me go on my own. That will be nice. I need the cash on hand tips to make it right now. We are trying to get out of mom and dad's house here pretty soon.

The Stars lost last night. They got there asses handed to them. I was working, but we had it up on a couple of places, and every time I looked up the Wings scored another 2 goals. I saw when introductions were happening. Then I look up, and the score is 2-0 Wings. What the hell. Start working again. Then BAM 4-0. WTF? Finally I look up and the Stars have scored one goal. Lastly I look up and the game is over. Man I know that the Wings are hot, and all, but I sure do hope that the Stars can wake up and kick their asses. I would like to see them go all the way again.

I did get Tammy another car. Nothing new, but it is not an eye soar either. Being a used car though I have had to put my mechanic's hat on a time or two since we have gotten it though. All in all, it's not too bad though. I found a really good deal on '93 Acura Legend. She likes it, but as any woman will do. She points out all the things wrong with it. I keep telling here that it is a used car. Deal with it! It doesn't look bad, and has A/C. It is better than my Jeep Cheapokee. All I have in it is a 270 air-conditioning. For you poor people out there you know what that is. For you others, it is both windows rolled down, and going 70 mph just to try and get some cool air to blow on you. It does suck to live in Texas with out A/C in your vehicle. I have endured it before, and I can do it again. For a little bit.

I am out of school until the Fall. I didn't have to take any finals so that was cool. I am just going to concentrate on making as much money as I can over the next few months.

That is about it in our world. Let me know what is going on in y'all's.

BE COOL.

THINGS ARE LOOKING UP (A LITTLE)

Well, I have a guy coming to buy the wrecked Ford today. That will be some money in the fund for the new ride. I have found a nice truck that a lady wants to sell at a good price. The "POS" other car will be ready tomorrow hopefully. So hopefully by next week we will be a two car family again instead of being a no car family.

We are throwing our annual craw fish boil this Saturday. I can't wait. I am ready to cut loose a little bit. I did get my '94 Jeep Wrangler repaired this weekend also. Just got to get it tagged and legal now. Hopefully I will be able to sell it pretty quick. We sure could use the money. If anybody is interested let me know. I will make one hell of a deal on it.

The kids are doing fine, but they are ready for school to get out. Especially the Drama Queen. She graduates this year. Man is she in for a rude awakening. Hello real world. I don't think she knows what is about to happen. She has big dreams, and I hope they all come true, but both sets of her parents are struggling with money right now so who knows. She is probably going to be going to Junior College like the rest of us.

Nothing else really going on right now.

CAN'T CATCH A BREAK

Well we paid off the F150 last month, and with the wise thinking of budgeting we dropped the insurance to liability only. STUPID!! My oldest step-daughter totalled the truck Friday night trying to miss a dog in the road. She ended up hitting a telephone pole. First, I am grateful that nobody got seriously injured. Like I told her, we can buy another truck, but we can't buy another you. The only thing that sucks about it is we are not in the best financial status of our life right now. I paid the truck off so we could get back on our feet. I have found a buyer for the truck as is. We are just going to start over, and try again. The thing that really sucks about the whole situation is that our other POS is in the shop getting the damn transmission rebuilt, and its no where near ready. So I am scrounging and trying to get my other Jeep Wrangler running so I can sell it, and between the truck and it I should be able to buy the wife something decent to drive for right now to carry the kids in. So if anybody has a car or truck to sell for cheap let me know.

That's about it right now.

Yell at you later.

BE COOL.

What it takes.

A friend of ours passed away on 4-3-08. I knew him from hanging out with everybody else. He and I didn't hang out together, but we did have a few discussions about life and things over beers on occasion. If you want the details on his death, and arrangements go to Shumpy's Site. These things make you take a step back, and ponder about your life. He was definitely too young to have passed on. The Mope will be remembered as a good man. This just goes to show you that you need to cherish everyday, and the loved ones around you.

We all got together last night at the B. It was good to see the gang, but I wish it would have been on other terms. We will all be getting together for the craw fish boil on the 19Th. I can't wait. It will be the first cookout of the year for me. I am ready to cut loose a little bit. If you are interested in going. Contact Shump or myself, and we will give you the details if you didn't already get the evite.

I am putting in a motor for my BIL truck this weekend. I have been stuck in an office for too long. I forgot how much I love fixing stuff with my hands. The old mechanic in me started coming back. I will have plenty of opportunities to get my hands dirty in the near future. We are driving all old stuff right now. We are trying to save some money to get us another place. The good news of that is that we don't have a truck, or car payment right now.

Nothing else going on. I will chat with y'all later.

RIP Rich.

Back To School

Well, school starts again today. I am so out of touch with school right now. I really wish night school didn't take a spring break, and just got out one week earlier. I have to get back into the habit of school work right now. I didn't have any home work over spring break thank God. Spring Break doesn't do the same as for me when I was a full time student. I don't get a spring break from work. It was nice to spend time with the family though this last week at night. Usually I am up before everyone, and the last one home.

Went to get my Jeep Cherokee, or as Tammy calls it, "My piece of Shit", this weekend. It was suppose to be getting the transmission overhauled. The guy did everything, but that to it. So needless to say, when I was driving off it started slipping. I went back, and had to tell him again that I wanted the damn transmission overhauled. I hate having to tell people something twice. He was talking to me like I didn't how to work on cars. I had to remind him that the only thing I couldn't do was rebuild an automatic transmission. I think I could have learned how to by now though. So in a week hopefully I will have something to drive back and forth to work, and we won't be a one vehicle family anymore.

Everything else is going alright right now.

That's about it for now. Yell at y'all later.

FAMILY DAY

Family Day on Wednesday was good. We had a great time at Six Flags. It was more crowded than I thought it would have been. I know it was spring break, but I didn't think that many people were out. There was a line for everything from getting your season pass, to getting on a ride, to getting something to eat. I never saw the lines so long to eat there. They even had extra booths open for food. Man were they slow. I guess they haven't gotten into the groove of things, or they really hired some stupid people. I guess it didn't help that it rained all day the day before, so a lot of those people probably came the next day.

The coolest thing about being out there was the Drama Queen (my oldest step-daughter) recently had knee surgery. So she got this book, or pass what ever you want to call it to get up to the front of the lines. It rocked. We never had to wait over 20 minutes to get on rides. We rode the Titan twice. I love that ride. We didn't even get to see the whole park. The good thing is though we have season passes so we will be going several times this year. Hell they are paid for after one trip. Those guys aren't losing any money by selling the season passes so cheap. Their food, and games is where they get ya.

We were all pretty tired after the day at Six Flags. I didn't realize how out of shape I was until I got home. I was fighting a cold at the time also. Didn't really help being in the cool wind. The wind blew all day. I still had a good time though. I really did enjoy being out there with the kids though. It had been a long time since the four of us had a day together. The girls always have something going on between the two of them. We rarely even eat together. The girls went off, and did something after we got home, but the wife and I went to bed early. We were worn out.

Spring Break has been nice, but I am ready for the kids to go back to school. I love them, and all, but they cost too much when they are out of school.

Nothing else really going on. Just ready for the Craw fish Boil we are holding next month. Stay tuned for details to come at a later date.

BE COOL.

Weekend News

This weekend wasn't too exciting. Worked on my BIL's truck, and watched the race Sunday. That was about the most exciting thing that happened this weekend. I wanted to go to Bass Pro Shops this weekend, but never made it. We really didn't do much, and it was nice.

The girls, and I are out on spring break this week. Too bad I can't take spring break from work either. I really need to become a teacher. If it wasn't for the punks in school I might. The hours, and all summer off would be great. We are all going to Six Flags tomorrow. Hopefully the rain stops. It has been raining here all damn day. It is suppose to clear up by tomorrow morning, but it is not suppose to get above 65 degrees either. I guess that means no water rides for me. To tell you the truth, I don't ever ride the water rides anyways. I can't stand that chaffing after getting off a ride all soaking wet then having to walk around that big ass place. It should be fun. We got season passes for the year. So we will go a couple of times. I like going out there sometimes when there is nothing else to do, and just jump on the Titan then leave. It can kill a couple of hours just parking, walking to the ride, getting on, and leaving. I am looking forward to going tomorrow. It shouldn't be that crowded, or hot.

That is about all going on here right now.

BE COOL

FRIDAY

I used to really look forward to Fridays. I couldn't wait until five o'clock. I would have a beer in my hand, and making calls to see where we were going to start drinking at. Now a days it is just another trip home from work. I miss drinking in the bars, and wasting time. Other than making some good friends, that is just what it was, wasting time, and money. Don't get me wrong, if I could afford it right now I probably would be doing that very thing. I have my obligations now, and I don't regret them. The kid in me just longs for those times that have gone by.

Another thing I miss is camping, and canoeing. I am real interested in setting up a trip sometime before Memorial Day if anybody is interested. The problem now though is trying to coordinate with every body's hetic schedule. It is nearly impossible to plan a weekend where nobody has anything going on. Between having children, and families it is crap shoot to get the whole gang back together. Good times. You ought to go, and check out some of the old memories on Shump's Site. Man, we had some good times on those trips. We were suppose to have a big 15Th annual one, but nobody could get everybody back together. Timmy has even bought a canoe, and I don't know how many times he has got to use it. By the way Timmy, lets go canoeing.

Getting old is never fun, but it is fun to look back on the old memories we have created.

Shumpy should be proud of me this week. I have posted nearly everyday.

Y'all have a great weekend, and we will yell at y'all later.

Had A Good Idea, and Forgot it.

On my way to work, or in the shower this morning I had a great idea for a post. I knew I should have jotted down some notes to help trigger my memory, because now I forgot what the hell it was. Maybe it will come back to me later.

Problems With Our World

This is a ranting post. I am fed up with a lot of things going on out there in the world. I was reading an article on CNN about this guy that built a robot to patrol his neighborhood where druggies, and scum of the earth are hanging out at night. The police have a problem with this contraption because it can spray water on people to try and get rid of them. Water people! This is what is wrong with today's society. We are so worried about getting sued for needless shit, because all the lawyers, and judges are worried about the wrong things. People should have rights granted, but people who are doing the right things in life should have rights too. If you commit a crime, you should be punished. You kill somebody in cold blood. You should be put to death. You steal something. Go to jail. The gang problems we are having is because nobody really has to stay in jail too long, or jail is a better environment than where they are living at the present time. Everybody in jail should have to do hard labor. They would make them think twice before going. Take the weights away. Take the TV's away. Make them all sleep in one room. Make them get up at the crack of dawn, and work their asses off until the sunset. The gang leaders in jail would think twice about going to jail if they had to work hard all day everyday. Young punks wouldn't think it is cool to be in a gang if they saw that they might have to go to work in jail.

Next point of ranting is the illegal immigrants. These fuckers are soaking up all our money, and sending it home. They are getting free health care also. I have grown up with Mexicans all my life, and have nothing against Hispanics that are citizens, or have green cards. They do need to do like they did when I was growing up though, and learn to speak English. If I was going to go live in Mexico, you can bet your ass I am going to learn to speak Spanish. Cooperate America is making where you don't have to learn our language now though. Hell they are advertising every where in Spanish now. Why do they do this? Is it because they feel sorry for the Hispanics? Hell NO! They do it because they don't want to miss out on that almighty dollar that is losing it's value more, and more everyday. The illegals are sending eleven billion dollars a year back across the border. That much money would do a lot of good if it was staying in our nation. I seriously believe if we don't do something about this problem real quick we are going to run into more problems than we can handle.

Now to bitch about the election year this year. This is one scary debate. All the choices suck. I say we go without a president, and let the government run it's self due to the choices we have to choose from. Too bad that Actor from Tennessee Fred Thompson isn't going to be running. I would have voted for him. He seemed like a stand up guy, who wasn't going to be pushed around. It might have shown how smart he was when he got out of the race so early, knowing that it was probably rigged anyway. That is not his official reason for withdrawing, but in my mind it is. It is going to be scary if anybody else other than John McCain wins. Hell it's going to be scary if he wins. In my opinion though he is the only one to vote for due to the choices we have. Number one he is the only one out of the three that was in the Military. If you don't believe we need to have someone from the military running this country you are just fooling your self. There are too many decisions riding on what our military must do to have someone in the office that doesn't know the first thing about how the military is ran. Secondly, he is a P.O.W.. He has paid the price of being in the military during the Vietnam War, and came out with honor. He did not have a REMF job like the current Commander-in-Chief, nor did he dodge the draft like the preceding one. If you don't know what a REMF this should explain it. You have to scroll down to the slang part on this one. I am not feeling real excited for this year's candidates. I guess will will just have to wait, and see how things turn out, and hope for the best.

There are a lot more things I would like to go on about, but maybe that will be for a later time. I am boring myself with this ranting. So I know I am boring y'all. We all definitely need to pray for our country to pull it's head out of it's ass. A lot of people need to realize, freedom has a cost. I believe a lot of us have forgotten this.

BE COOL.

Let's try this again.

Well it has been a nearly a year. To be exact it has been since March 27Th, of 2007 since I posted. There has been a shit load going on since the last time I posted. Well #1 we have moved back to the greatest state in the nation. Yes people, we are back in Texas where we belong. I turned in my notice back in August, and left the company at the end of that month. I had enough with Alabama, and the company I was working for. I took a step back, and took a less responsible job back here in Texas. I am thoroughly enjoying not having all the responsibility, and definitely less ass chewings. The family was ready to move back to TX, and the job out there was getting too frustrating, and was not rewarding enough to warrant staying in AL. So we packed up some stuff, and put the rest in storage. We moved back to TX, and I went job hunting. I found a really good job. It is less money, but we are making due for right now. I am back in school, and trying to work on getting into nursing school in the fall.

There has been a lot going on since we moved back. The Softball Queen had surgery over Christmas break. We had a good time celebrating Christmas in the hospital. It wasn't really that bad. Cook Children's Hospital was excellent in their care. I have never been to a hospital that they really take care of their patients that well before. She is out, and doing great. She won't be able to play this year though. There are a lot of teams asking for her right now. She is young, and has two more years of high school so she will have plenty of time to play. She does have a job now. So that has made it easier on the wallet a little.

Tammy had a spell last month with her MS but is doing well now. She keeps here self busy with the kids, and bingo. She is ready to get a place of our own. We are living with my mom and dad right now trying to save some money, and make it easier on us while I am in nursing school. The house is big enough for us. We have the 3 bedrooms upstairs to ourselves. It is still not our own place, but we have to do what we have to do.

I went back to AL two weeks ago, and got all of our stuff out of storage. Man that was a killer, and expensive trip. I rented a car trailer, and a U-Haul trailer. My dad and I drove down there on a Saturday afternoon, and got down there about 10pm. Half way there I realized that I had forgotten the storage keys. You would think "No Problem, just cut it off", but the lock on the door is not a master lock. It is one of those that goes in the door. I wasn't going to be able to get the door company to come out there until Monday. So I called my wife, and mom. They looked up flights, and mom jumped on a flight to The Big Easy and rented a car to drive to Mobile,AL. It saved us from having to drive all the way back, and coming another time. So on Sunday I had a friend of ours meet us at the storage unit to help. He was coming to help, because I was giving him all the big furniture to keep for his self. He is a bachelor in dire need of furnishings for his house so he was happy to help out. We got everything packed up, and drove back home. We got back in about 4am Monday morning. We were all wore out. We got everything unpacked, and put into the storage in the building behind my parents house that week. I am hoping that is the last time I have to go back to AL. No, we probably will take short vacations there to go, and see some friends sometime. The Softball Queen wants to go back for spring break, but that ain't happening this year.

Well that is a little about what is going on with us right now. I have missed blogging, and I ain't promising anything, but I am going to try, and keep it caught up this time. I know. I know. You have all heard it before, but let's just see what happens.

BE COOL.
