BACK AGAIN IN BAMA

Well, I doubt there is anybody out there reading this anymore, but I am going to start writing again. I have finally gotten connected here in Bama now. It has been one hell of a ride since we have moved here. I got a job transfer, and a promotion if ya'll didn't know. We have been here since the end of July. I have taken over one of my company's store. I was in shambles. I came out in June to clean it up and interview people for the position I am in now, and some how ended up getting the job that I was interviewing people for. It was pretty scary moving three states away, but it has turned into a pretty good time.

Each month it is getting better at work. It is finally turning around. I am under staffed though. I will make this work. Even if it kills me. I am learning so much that I didn't know about this job. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel though.

I finally got to get on the net and see what everybody is up to. The Blonde hasn't posted in a while, and Chuck as had to quit blogging. I understand his reasons, but it seems my world is getting a little smaller. Shumpy is on a cruise right now. I hope him and Big Dog have a great time. He and I have been playing phone tag for the last month.

The Softball Queen is adjusting to the area fine. She is already on two different teams and tries out for the high school team in November. She has found a little friend here, and seems to be making more.

Tammy is adjusting, but misses home. She has been in the hospital twice since we have been here. She has found a Bingo hall though and won some money last weekend.

I haven't gotten to play any golf yet, but hopefully I get to Sunday. Bama isn't too bad, but the people are a little to laid back. I am a very aggressive person when it comes to work, and I expect everybody else to be. These people down here just want to get by. I have never seen anything like it. I am motivating most of my staff, and showing them what can come about if everybody does there job. They were so used to just getting by. We are getting things turned around, and this job is going to make me a hero with my company (hopefully.) The good thing is if this thing doesn't work out my sciences are good for 5 years and I can always go to nursing school. I haven't given up on that idea yet. We will see what happens at the end of this year.

Well enough blah, blah from me. Hope everyone out there is doing good, and don't worry I am and always will be a True Texan no matter where I live.

On a sad note the COWBOYS lost Sunday. I couldn't believe it. They came out like gang busters, and then didn't wake up as usual until the last two minutes of the game. Which you can't win them all in the last two minutes. You have to play the whole game. Deadsoe again has a problem finding the open man because he is probably not the first one of the play to get the ball. Three interceptions? What is the Can of Tuna thinking? I guess that is why they pay him more for one game then I make in a year. What do I know though. I am just a dumb ol' Cowboy fan. I am still a fan through the thick and thin, but something has got to give with Deadsoe.

Well I hope somebody reads this.

Go Cowboys!!!!

I read. Didn't realize you were actually moving - thought it was just a business trip. Chuck's blog made me so sad. I couldn't manage to leave a comment. Will have to write him soon. He wrote and I read for two years.

Hey Colby. Glad to here you're doing well! Kira and I had our daughter on 8/8. She looks nothing like me other than her pale complexion, but even that is going away with time. She's absolutely beautiful and healthy. When are you coming home for a visit?
