Well after the Cowboy victory Saturday night we headed up to the B to celebrate, and Tammy's winnings from Bingo. We got up there and nobody from the crew was really there. Barry did show up. Everybody was over at Pete's house for the football draft. We picked up some beer and headed over there. By the time we got there, just about everybody was drunk. We stayed a few minutes and headed back up to the B. I bribed Shump to come up for a shot and a few drinks. We ran into some new friends of ours while we were up there. They said they were headed to Shreveport and wanted to know if we wanted to go. So like the smart people we are, we said why not. Tammy ended up driving out there, because she was the only sober one. We got to the boats about 4am. We gambled a little bit at Hollywood, then we went over to the Horseshoe for the rest of the time. No folks, I didn't come back rich. We actually donated a little. Poor Tammy had to drive back Sunday morning, because we were all still drunk. She got us home safe and sound. We ended up sleeping the rest of the day away.
Went to work Monday morning hungover. I just don't understand why hangovers hurt more now than they used to. Sucks getting older. Work was boring. I went to my first class Yesterday night. I had Anatomy & Physiology plus lab. It was pretty good. Looks like the professor is going to be alright. Tonight I had Speech and Comp II. It doesn't look like those classes are going to be to hard. I hope my Comp II professor makes it through the year. I think he was around when the pilgrims came over on the Mayflower. No, he is pretty funny, and the way he has the class mapped out I don't think it's going to be too bad.
We got end of the month at work tomorrow so I am going to get out of here for now. I got a little studying to do for A & P. That is going to be my hardest class.
BE COOL.

HOW ABOUT THEM BOYS?
Cowboys. Yeah baby the boys looked a lot better. I am so ready for the season to start. Tyson Thompson looked good tonight, and even the offense line straightened up after the 1st Qtr. I am not as worried about Bledsoe now. He looked good after the line gave him sometime to throw. Romo looked good. He definitely secured his position. I checked on season tickets tonight, and it is not going to happen this year. I am going to make it happen next year though.
I just had to post. I think that is the first time we have beaten the Texican'ts. I hope I can to go sleep tonight.
Yell at ya'll tomorrow.

With or Without? Your Choice
Here is the question of the day. Should I stay with the stash or keep it off. I got bored today and shaved the stash off. I usually do this once a year in January, but I shaved it off today. I am going around and talking to a few hospitals next month to talk about contracts and deals for school. So I think I am going to keep it off for at least a couple of weeks. I want to know ya'll's input for after that. Should I keep it off?Tammy and I went to the high school football game last night. The Princess's team won. She marches in the band. They did an excellent job. Her band is pretty good. They go to nationals and get invited all over the country every year. She took four trips with them last year. We are already trying to set money back for this year's trips. We have to do a lot of fundraisers to help out. Speaking of that if any body needs a pass book for Tarrant county, let me know. We have sold four already. We usually out do her dad on fundraisers, but it's not hard when he usually doesn't sell anything.
I miss high school. Sitting there at the game last night, brought back a lot of fun memories form high school. I was sitting watching all the kids, and they had so much energy. I can remember waiting all week for Friday night. That had to be the best night of the week during high school. Now, I didn't go to a lot of football games, because usually I was riding Friday and Saturday nights at the rodeos. I would ride bareback on Friday nights, and Bulls on Saturday night. I split it up on purpose, because on Friday night I would usually leave after the bareback event and go party. When I was riding in high school, there was a lot of people riding bulls. There was always a slack riding for bulls (extra riding) before the rodeo started, then bull riding was the last event, and then there would be more slack at the end of the night after the rodeo. In high school the rodeo would go from Friday night through Sunday afternoon. So I would sign up to ride Broncs on Friday night so I could make it to the parties. Now that I got off the subject, the kids last night had so much energy and you could just tell they didn't have a care in the world, but seeing their friends at the game. I miss those times. Not having to worry about bills or work. Just rodeoing and partying.
I went over to my Dad's this morning and finished painting the house. I got it all knocked out, and he and I got to spend some time together. We had a good time, but I am glad that it is done now. He has a two story house, and the second story is all wood. When I win the lottery one day, I am going to get siding done on his house. I have painted that house for the last time. I have painted it four times in my life. He bought good paint so we should at least get ten years out of it, but who knows.
I came home after that and took me a big old nap. I love Saturdays when a whole lot is not going on.
Tammy and the MIL went to Bingo again tonight. So I am just sitting around and fixing to watch America's team play and win tonight. Yes, I am talking about the Dallas Cowboys. If any of you ever feel like you need to do something for somebody, and just can't figure out what it is. I sure would like season tickets to the Cowboy games. I don't even care if they are in the seats all the way at the top. That is one of my goals to have season tickets with in the next two years.
Well the Dallas Cowboys are about to play; so I have to get everything ready for the game. Yes, I have a ritual before the games. I will go into that at a later date.
GO COWBOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
BE COOL.

TGIFF
If you can't figure out what the extra F is for, it has not been a long week for you. I am so glad it is Friday. I am ready for this month to be over. It is almost H7P time. I think I look forward more to this party than I do when the nextel cup race comes to town. I am still trying to figure out what costumes the wife and I are going to wear. I think we are going to break from the norm of T-shirts this year. Here is where I was passing the torch off to Rich for being the Ice Luge Master Bartender Passing of the Torch If any of you can ever make a party, this is the one you need to make. There is going to be more people there than you can shake a stick at. It's good times.
Tonight the wife and I are going to watch the Princess march during the football game. She is in the percussion section. I missed all of her performances last year, because I was working two jobs at the time. So this is going to be a short post.
Ya'll have a great weekend, and Shump have a great time.
BE COOL.

HNT HERE NOW.

Well I don't get to play with the other kids, because we don't have a digital camera yet. All of my other pics were on the PC that is down right now. I probably lost all of them. So if anybody has a digital camera laying around that they don't use, send it my way. WAIT!!! I forgot I have a picture phone. So I took a pic and am emailing it to my myself. So it's on there now. Look at those abs baby. Body by Bud & tequila. Not going to talk about work here. I am tired of boring ya'll with all that blah blah.
Shumpy, sorry to hear the weekend crapped out. If all else fails. Come by and we'll tie one on, and you can work on the site and fix the other PC. I would even put some Freon in the Shump Mobile.
Chuck, tomorrow I will post a pic of my attack dog for you. I let you tell me whose looks tougher.
Tammy, is feeling better. Her and her mom went to Bingo. No they didn't go to this place. I am just playing around and placing things all over this post. It gives her something to do, and she wins quite often.
I am just going to sit around here and surf the blogsites and watch TV.
Ya'll have fun.

Life After Jury Duty
Being gone from work two days had its perks, but the return to the office sucked. I had to play a little catch up to get things straight around there. Troy the guy who works in the office did a pretty good job with out me, but it takes two to run that office proficiently. Thank God we had things caught up before I had jury duty or we would be in a world of shit. I had a meeting today with one of our vendors that didn't want to pony up and pay us for the work that they had us do for a customer today. So we had a little come to Jesus meeting today. We basically told them that we weren't going to finish the project unless they took care of the first bills that we had already sent them. Being the great negotiator that I am, and with a little help from one of my managers we are going to get paid what we are entitled to. It was basically a waste of time because I knew they were going to pay, and they knew they were going to pay it all. I guess they just wanted to fly down here to get a way from their wives. It seems everybody gets to go on business trips in this business except me. I really couldn't afford to right now, but I wouldn't mind getting a way on business every once in a while. The problem with once you take a trip for your company, they want to send you all the time. It would really fuck with school right now any way.
Tammy is still trying to recover from the trip to Sixflags. It really gets to her when she has to be out in the sun for that long. She also has been running 90 to nothing before Sunday taking care of her mother. Her mother is doing better. She finally went back to work yesterday.
Nothing else really going on. Too broke to go to the bar, and school doesn't start until next Monday. Just laying up like a crack whore at nights watching TV.
Yell at ya'll later.
BE COOL.

Back in the Saddle Again
Well I am back in the saddle again. The problem is that I am having to ride a shetland pony instead of a quarter horse. I have the kids computer hooked up and able to get to the internet. It keeps crashing if I have too many things going at once though. They had so much crap running in the back ground. I am just going to have to come in here after every weekend that they are over and get rid of all the crap they have going on this computer. I my Dad's PC went down, so now I am second in line, because they have to use their pc's for my mom's work. So I am still waiting on my newer computer to get fixed. I have narrowed it down to the motherboard, so it is under warranty. I just have to wait my turn for my brother to fix it.
I got through finals last week, or should I say my final. I was only taking one class in the second session of summer. I got an A on my final and got a A for the class. So now I am carrying a 3.028 GPA. I am so proud of myself. This class was no walk in the park though. I had a really good professor. I would classify him in the top two of all my instructors. He really taught us how to write papers and get them right for academic purposes. He showed us how to fill in papers with words to make them sound more professional or academic. I didn't know if I was going to get a good grade in this class, but it worked out real well.
We had the little one again this weekend. We went to pick him up Saturday. We had a company picnic on Sunday at Six Flags. He had a blast. We took him on the Log Ride, and he loved it. I thought he might have gotten sacred, but he didn't. He loved it. We all had a real good time.
I had jury duty for the last two days.It was pretty much a waste of time, but oh well. It got me out of work for the past two days. I am just counting the days until nursing school starts. I am getting so tired of working in a place where they want you to take care of the business where the numbers look good, but they don't want to pay adequately to do the job. I am looking in too a few things to try and get something going before nursing school starts for income, and if one of these things comes up before school starts in the fall of '06 I'm taking it. Hough about that stuff.
I am glad to be connected again, even if it is on this shetland pc. That's a small horse, that don't go very fast, and usually is a pain in the ass. Also, if you don't watch'em they will bite you when you aren't looking. I am just going to have to get me a dell. The prices are coming down on those and I don't do a lot of gaming so I don't need all the bells and whistles. We also need to add a transmission to the wish list for the Jeep. If Tammy and I didn't have bad luck we wouldn't have any luck at all.
Well that's about it for today little buckaroos. I am going to go out there and look at all ya'll sites which I haven't been able to do in a while.

Part Thursday/Part Friday
Life is going ok right now. Finals are next week. I have been studying harder trying to get an A in this class. Good news though, I got an A on my last paper. I should have had an A on the first paper, but I forgot to box something on the paper like he asked us to do, and I got a 8 points knocked off. So, it ended up being a B. Oh well, what are you going to do.
I am still having problems with the PC. Shumpy is supposed to come by Sunday and we are going to try and set something up temporarily. I am not giving the PC to my brother to fix until this class is over, because I still have Office working on it. It is a lot easier to work on it then the old dinosaur I have in the kid’s room.
I am thinking about opening my own moving business. JK. I have to move the MIL this weekend. Between the family and me I am having been moving somebody every weekend since the 22nd of July. So if anybody calls me to help them move; I am retired after this weekend. Except, Silent Dave. He saved my life when I had to move. You know it is always funny, when you are moving how everybody has something going on. If I were throwing a big party with naked girls everybody would show up. Maybe that’s what I need to do the next time I move. I will hire a couple of strippers to show up so all my friends will show up to help. Used all it took was buying everybody some beer and pizza. Of course now, we have a lot more stuff to move. It used to be all we had was a mattress, box springs, a T.V, and maybe a couch. Moving was easy. I used to be able to move my whole household in one load in a Nissan pick-up truck. That’s not how it is anymore. Somewhere over my lifetime I have acquired a lot of stuff. Do you think it might be because I have a wife now? I swear we have more shelves in our apartment than can be hung up in a six bedroom house, and I put about 5 more in storage the other day. We have not been able to get everything put up in the apartment yet. Tammy has been working on it a little bit at a time, but with everything going on with her mother she just hasn’t had the time. There is still a lot of stuff in the living room that needs to be put up or sent to storage. Maybe by the time we move out we will have everything put up where it goes. Matti, our little Chihuahua, loves it though. She has so many places to hide and play in now.
I have got a full weekend ahead of me. I have a paper I have to write. It’s not due until the 18th, but I like to write it over the weekend instead of during the week. Also, we have to move the MIL; I have to replace the brakes on the Jeep, and Shump and I are going to work on the computer.
I started writing this post on Thursday at work. Work got so busy yesterday that I could not finish it. I am thoroughly looking forward to this weekend. NOT.
I did get some good news last night in school. I turned my latest paper in, and the professor graded it while we wrote another paper in class last night. I got a 96 on it. That made my night. Then at 3 am this morning my wife woke me up with some more good news. Her oldest niece had another baby boy. 8 lbs. 21 inches. Great news, but I could have waited until this morning to hear it. Oh well, its FRIIIIIIIIIIIIIDAY.
Hope all ya’ll have a good weekend. BE COOL.

Life sucks and so does my PC
Well the pc is still down. The motherboard took a big old dump again. My father is raging pissed at my brother right now about. He keeps trying to say it is viruses, but when I have to move Ethernet cards and such because the processor can’t see them. I don’t think it is a virus. I can’t get certain programs to load up either. They fail half way through the installation. I haven’t been able to get to the old computer because either the kids had it tied up, or MIL was sleeping in there.
The house is quiet again. The kids were over for the weekend. I never realized how much space we had in the house compared to the apartment until we are all in there together. They go home today and we took the MIL home last night. She went back to work today. She is doing real well. Thanks for all of ya’ll’s concerns. It was not bad having her around though. She bought a lot of stuff for the apartment and Tammy actually cooked a little while she was over. Yeah baby.
The best news is that the little one that we raised from two months old until he was two years old got to come over Saturday. His mother called us Friday and asked us if we wanted for him to come over Saturday. Naturally we were ecstatic. I went to pick him up. I am having Shump post a pic of the little one doing his favorite thing to do.
He loves calling me on the phone while we are driving down the road. He and I played all day together Saturday. We got up and cooked breakfast Sunday morning. We had a blast. His mom is going to let us get him more often now. I am so ready for him to come back over, but I can wait.
School is busy as hell. We are writing a paper every week. I am not doing to bad. I am just ready to get this class out of the way. Summer session classes suck. I will either be posting from school or Shumpy will be posting for me. I can’t get to the site from work so we I get a minute or two I am going to send my post to Shump on a word doc so he can post it. I can check the responses on my phone, but I can’t post from it yet. I am going to be getting a phone where I can, because I am tired of messing with the computer at home.
That’s about it for now. I doubt I will post everyday, but I will try to post as much as possible.
BE COOL.

PC Down!!!!
Hey my computer crashed at the house again. My brother is working on it. I think I need to just go and get a new one. I can't bitch too much though it was free from my family. My dad is getting pissed at my brother for building such a POS. I got a free line out of work today so I could post a short message. It is good to know the IT department and have the hook up. Tammy's mom is doing better and staying at our house right now. Thanks for the prayers. She had to have a stint put in. I will catch ya'll up later this week. I will be blogging from school.

A Little Calmer on the Home Range.
Last night I couldn't sleep for shit. Writing about the problems I was having with the S.A.F.C.C. calmed me down a little; until I went to bed. I tossed and turned for about three hours. I kept going over in my head what I was going to say to them today. Finally, I turned the boob tube back on to watch the History Channel to go to sleep. This is a technique I use when I can't sleep. I put it on the and I believe I am educating myself while I go to sleep. The trick worked again. I did wait on the Cable Guy to show up. I went up, and talked with the apartment manager. I turned in the problem sheet, (the one where when you move in; you mark down all the problems with the place,) and told her about the problems I was having with the S.A.F.C.C. She told me that she had a phone number for the district rep. and was going to contact him for me. Hopefully I will get some free cable for a month or two. I had to leave for work before the Cable Guy did show. Tammy was here though. He came by and fixed all the things that I wanted fixed. So I am done bitching about that for now.
Tammy's mom is doing better. They performed a stress test on her, and they still haven't told us a lot. Tammy is going up there tomorrow to see what the results are. In this case, no news is good news. I think she is going to pull through alright. Thanks for all the comments and concerns.
Now I am going to do something I have never done on this site. I am going to do one of those question thingys. I would be doing it, but Chuck's was so funny that I felt I had to do it also. So here it goes.
1) CD in your car that you are embarrassed to admit that you have: Pink. I love that bitch.
2) Song currently on the radio that you sing to in your car, that you are embarrassed to admit that you know the words to and like: The pill by Pink
3) TV show(s) that you secretly watch that you are embarrassed to admit: The taboo shows that come on the Oxygen Channel late night Saturday nights. Soft, Soft porn, but still porn.
4) TV or Movie Star that you would sleep with but are too embarrassed to admit that you would, because he/sheis not your normal type: The Red Head from Desperat housewives.
5) Musician that you would sleep with but are too embarrassed to admit that you would, because he/she is not your normal type: The lead singer from 4 Non Blondes . The big ol' DSL's. They get me every time.
6) Secret single behavior that you do at home when alone but are too embarrassed to admit: Jacking. Sometimes you have to relieve the stress though.
7) Admit HONESTLY what REALLY attracts you to the opposite sex at first site: A great smile. Yeah right, ITS THE BOOBS. I am a man for God's sake.
8) Even though you are not gay, admit HONESTLY someone of the same sex who you would have sex with if you were gay: Ain't got one, and not going to think of one. Sorry to disappoint ya'll. I ain't jumping the fence even for "What ifs."
9) Name an Olympic sport that you are embarrassed to admit that you like watching: Gymnastics of course. The girls in those skin tight leotards. Little know fact about me. I was in gymnastics in junior high. I got to look at many a girls in those tight little things, and some out of those tight little things.
10) Have you ever masturbated in a public place? Only driving down the highway, and it was dark so nobody could see. Long rode trip for some booty that didn't happen.
11) Have you ever had a job that no one knew about? If yes, what was it? Yep! Worked at Mickey D's for one night. Man friends came in to get something to eat and made jokes. I quit on the spot.
12) If you could be invisible for one day, who would you spy on? Any woman in Hugh Hefner's house.
13) Be honest Have you ever had phone sex? Yep. It sucked. Too much "well what do we say now?" Of course I was already done with me, I just stayed on the phone for the next five minutes for her.
14) Be honest Have you ever hooked up with a friend of your gf/bf while you were dating? Yeah, and come to find out she was crazier than the one I was dating at the time.
15) Have you ever hooked up with someone that you would never tell your friends? I think I have told my friends all the stupid stuff I have done in my life. Especially Shumpy he knows about almost everyone. We both have mopeds in the shed of past experience.
Well there they are. Laugh it up. I have stayed up way too late doing this list.
BE COOL.

BE COOL.

Moving Sucks
Well I am sorry that I haven't been posting lately, but we had to move. We cancelled our cable and internet a little too early. That is why I haven't been on the net lately. We finally got moved this weekend and the cable people finally could work me into their busy schedule to hook up cable and internet. Murphy's Law happened. They fucked everything up. They not only came in and did a shitty job they didn't hook up everything right, and forgot to hook up some boxes in the apartment. My nephew was here so they could hook up the cable, because Tammy had to be at the hospital with her Mom. I will get to that in just a little bit. So I call the cable company after my nephew calls me and says that the guy did not hook up everything right. They tell me that they can make it out between 2 & 5 pm. I argue with them a little bit and finally concede to their schedule. So being the patient person I am I call them at 4pm before I left work to see if there was someone on the way since they hadn't made it there yet. They come on the phone with this " I am a little fuck up that you will never find and I can be a smart ass" attitude, and tell me they have until 5pm to be there. Well I get home from work just before five. Guess what? They haven't made it. So I learned a little patience and waited until five to call them and ask them where they were are at. So after explaining my story to the operator, oh excuse me customer service agent, they put me on hold for 30 minutes. I was watching the clock. I told you I am a patient person. They come back on the line and tell me the dispatcher cancelled the work order because they talked to the installer and he said he did everything right. Of course he did, that's why I called them. I just wanted to call and say thanks. Fuckers. Then they tell me that they will make some phone calls and call me back in less than thirty fucking minutes. (Can you tell that I have gotten over this?) Then the installer calls me back and says "I did what the workorder said to do." So I go off on the little fucker who didn't sound a day over 18. I explained to him that he didn't install the digital boxes in the other two rooms, and shit was done like a fucking junkie was stealing the shit. Not installing it. So he says he will see if he can get anybody to come back out. Guess what you fucking morons? If you would have come back out when you were suppose to it would be fixed. So I call the cable company back, because the installers are contract. You do know to get work that you can be proud of in your business you need to contract out all the work to people who get paid the job and have no benefits they always do a super job. That's what we do at our Multi-million dollar business where I work. Shit we would go broke. Sorry ranting. I call the S.A.F.C.C (shitty, assfucked, cable company) back again. Then I get to talk to the 6 dollar an hour supervisor, not the 5.50 p/h service agent. This fuck starts telling me the problem is that I was not there. I guess I am going to have to work for these fucks so they do their jobs proper and right the first time. Now after all my bitching and cussing these fucks out on the phone, they still won't be here until the morning. I feel sorry for the fuck that shows up tomorrow though, because I am taking the morning off to be here. I swear I want to pinch the fucking heads off these fuckers. I even asked them how they were going to compensate me for all the trouble. They reply that they don't feel like they should, because my nephew who is under 18 was here and they should not have done the install in the first place. Yeah, that was the problem. That must be why they did such a FUBARed job.
enough about the S.A.F.C.C. Tammy got a call this morning about 1:30 am from her mom. She was having chest pains and couldn't breath. So she called the ambulance and Tammy headed up to the hospital. She is doing better, but they are going to run test tomorrow. So Tammy is going to need to be there. So the S.A.F.C.C is going to have to deal with me. I can't wait. I think I am going to have breakfast made for the little dumplings when they show up. Yeah right. I hope Tammy's mom gets to feeling better. We are just going to have to wait and see. Ya'll say a few prayers for her.
Work is going alright. They are talking about hiring another person to be in the department with us. Who knows. People are quitting left and right. They new guy is doing awesome. A shit load better than I thought he was going to do. I have been able to get a lot done since he has been there. The best part about it is I didn't have to train him as much as I thought I was going to have to. We are working on rocking the place. By the way they still haven't come around to talk to me about a raise yet. They had better.
The new apartment is great, but still a fucking mess. It sucks trying to stuff a 3 bedroom house into a 2 bedroom, plus sun room (computer room now). We did have to get a storage. We have almost got it all knocked out though.
Well I hope a few of your are still out there. I will be writing more.
BE COOL.

Work SUUUUUUUCKS
I didn't post last night, because I went in to work Monday morning at 6am and didn't get off work until 7pm. Being salary sucks. If we weren't so broke right now I would have quit about 8am yesterday morning. They had everything so screwed up when I got back from vacation. It is going to take me two weeks to fix their fuck ups. I wish they would have just piled it all up on my desk and not done a thing last week. They thought they were helping me out, but in all actuality they just made it worst. I do appreciate people helping, but not making it more work on me. I blew my top Monday morning over several things. They just let me vent and left me alone until today. I kinda feel sorry for them.
The new guy, that I had no choice of hiring started yesterday, and it looks like he might work out. Hopefully. Most places have a 90 day probation period when they start, but not with me. If you can't pick it up and get going with in two weeks your out of there. I know it sounds mean, but what we do we can't afford to get behind. The new guy is probably going to make it. He has been doing everything right that I gave him, which is better than some of the people I have had moved to other departments in the company did.
Enough venting. I got to come home about 6pm tonight and chilled out. My buddy Chuck came by with his new girlfriend. She is not bad looking, but she is bringing more kids into the relationship than he is. To each their own though. If they are happy, I'm happy. I got to get some computer time. I didn't have to threaten the kids with bodily injury though to get the computer. JK.
Looks like chuck , surrvied Dennis. Congrats, but I hope at least a couple shingles came off so you can do the roof.
Also SK had a good time at the high school reunion. You need to check out here class picture. Reminds me of home.
Well the Softball Queen is having a friend over, and the Princess is too. I made my nephew's girlfriend go home. Don't act like it is so shocking. I made them sleep in two different rooms and I sleep with one eye open. No they aren't that heavy into the relationship yet, but I felt if she was going to stay much longer they might try. I had to give them a little cool down time. They are good kids, are very scared of me also.
We'll yell at ya'll later.

Why I Am Glad I Don't Have a bushel of Kids.
We got up this morning and waited for everybody to show up to got to NRH20 , because nobody knew how to get there. I went to the Store and bought gatorade and waters. I filled the coolers up, and we waited. All the people showed up about the same time. We headed out to the water park. When we got there the ladies scouted out a good spot. Which in man terms means, we had to carry around heavy ass coolers to about 3 different spots until the ladies chose the last spot. Seeing as none of the adults had been there before there was no predetermined spot. The last spot was actually the best. Why do you ask why I am glad I don't have a lot of kids? Well I will tell you. There were about 10 kids with us today including the ones I claim. They all did a pretty good job of coming around and letting us know where they were, and what they were doing. All Except this one little kid, who definitely needs his name changed, because it is the same as mine. This kid took off to go ride a slide or something when we first got there by his self. Three hours later nobody has seen this kid. He is not hanging out with the other ones and nobody has seen him. The first thought that jumps into my mind is someone has taken this kid. Every other kid we have run into some where in the park at least twice. Not this kid though. So all the parents start going around the water park looking for him. I must have gone around the thing twice. Finally after an hour, he comes running up. So the buddy system starts. I make him pair up with another kid at the party that I had seen several times in this park, and threaten him with calling his mother if I find him alone again. I know, I am such a meany. Well after that I was pretty calm and we had a good time. Of course I wore my sun shades that you can't see my eyes through. The view was quite nice. Thank God for Texas heat and bikini makers. Note: there are some people out there that wear things that they shouldn't though. I feel it is everybody's responsibility to let your friends know when an outfit just ain't right to be worn in public. Like if you weigh over 200 lbs. Don't wear a two piece bikini. Nobody wants to see that in public. Now I might have offended some people with that last statement, but I believe practice watch you preach. I am not going to wear a speedo in public. My gut is too big and my package ain't that big to walk around showing it to everybody. If it was I would just go around naked.
We loaded up after being out there for 5 hours and came home. I am burnt, and both the step-daughters passed out as soon as we got home. Yeppieeeee. Computer time for me.
Yes the vacation ends today. I have to got to work tomorrow. I am not looking forward to seeing how much shit is piled up on my desk, and how much stuff I have to straighten out. Oh well, I think Tammy is ready for me to go back to work. She hasn't giving me any all week. That is just wrong for a man on vacation. I am hoping that tonight since the kids are dog tired that I will get me some. If not it will definitely happen next weekend when the girls go to their dad's for the weekend.
That's it for now. Have a great week.

Just Call Me the Redneck Picasso
I got up this morning and went over to my parents house this morning and helped my dad paint the house. My father's house is a two story house and the second story is all wood. I got the wonderful chore of being the guy who did the top of the house. Heights don't bother me, but shakey ladders do. I got one side of the house done, but next week I am borrowing a paint sprayer from one of my friends. No more painting with a brush. I could have done the whole house in the amount of time it took me to paint the one side of the house. I really don't mind painting the house for Dad, just spending that much time in the Texas heat when it can be done a whole lot faster. We had a pretty good time making the side of the house brown though. That's a little side joke my father and I have. Ok, here is how the story goes. The first time I helped paint the house, my grandfather, dad, and I painted it. Well when ever we were doing house projects or working on some of their rent houses, they always told me some story or joke. So any ways, when we were painting the house they would ask me how the painting was coming, and I would say OK. They would say no it's not, and wouldn't tell me why until I started to become aggravated. Finally they told me the story about one time they were painting one of the rent houses, and next door some professional painters were painting the house next door. The professional painter next door asked them what they were doing, and my grandfather and dad answered we are painting the house. He said no your not, that's what I do. Ya'll are just making it green, or whatever color they were painting it. Well my dad didn't like this, but just kept working. Then when they were through they looked at both houses and saw the difference between the paint jobs. The professional painters job was a lot cleaner, neater, and didn't miss any spots. My grandfather and dad's job looked less professional. So from then on we never paint. We just make it green, brown, or whatever color the paint is at this time. Now I hope ya'll feel better about me explaining the inside joke. It does bring back a lot of good memories about times with my grandfather, dad, and I spending time together that we can never relive again.
After painting at my dad's I came home and ran over to chiropractor Dave's (formally know as Marketing Dave) house. There are so many Daves in our group of friends that we have to nickname them to keep them straight. Such as, Shakey Dave, Naked Dave, Stinky Dave (known now as Colorado Dave, Marketing Dave, etc. As all nicknames go there are stories behind everyone of them. So any ways I went by chiropractor Dave's house that he is building. He was experimenting with concrete stains, because he is going to do that in several rooms of the house. We got caught up and chit chatted a little. He did a test run of the staining. I wish we were still going to be living here when his house is finally done, but we won't be far. His house is coming along pretty good.
Just laid around like a crack whore after that, watching the boob tube. We went out for http://www.longjohnsilvers.com for dinner. I had been craving that place for a while and Tammy saw a commercial for it so then she wanted to go. Came back after dinner and watched TV. What an exciting life. I know my life is boring right now, but were poor for the time being.
Tomorrow were are going to http://www.nrh20.com for the Wild One's Birthday. His birthday was actually the third, but since everybody was going to be out of town for that weekend we are celebrating it this weekend. I will have to keep reminding my self that most of the ladies walking around there in bikinis are under age. These girls today look so much older than they are, but isn't that what our parents said when were young. So pray for me tomorrow because we are taking ten of his closest friends. No actually most of the parents are going to be there too. That's it for tonight. Stay tuned until next episode.

P.S. did ya'll see the links. I am getting good at this shit.

Chores, What Fun
Well we got up and cleaned house around here this morning. Oh the joys of vacation. After we cleaned house we went and looked at apartments. I think we have found the one we are going to move into if they let us in. It used to be so easy to get an apartment. Now they look at both of our credits. Not saying mine is great, but with both of us it makes it a little hard.
We took one of the nephews home that was staying with us this week. We will call him "Head", because his head is just now proportional to his body now that he is four, than when he was born. I think his body grew into his head. I swear it is the same size as when he was born. Cute as a button, but until recently his head was huge. He really wanted to go home, but then he really wanted to stay and play @ Uncle Colby's house. He was torn with the decision until he saw his parents and little brother. After dropping him off I took Tammy and the kids home and went to see my Uncle.
My Uncle broke his leg this week. He is a quadriplegic and one morning when his wife was transferring him from his bed to the wheelchair his leg broke. His bones are getting so brittle and they must have tweaked his leg some way and it broke. He had surgery yesterday and they installed a rod on his femur. He was released today, so I helped them get him home. The only lucky thing for him is that he could not feel the pain.
Now I have to comment on my Uncles wife. I thought about it today and this has to be one of the best people I know. She and my uncle have been married for about 25 years. There are numerous things that make her great like, how she takes care of him all by herself, and all the arts and crafts that she is so good at. The one thing that stands out in my mind that makes this woman a saint is that she married him after he was in the wheelchair. His first wife left him when he became paralyzed. This woman married him when he was already there. Now he can get around in his wheelchair and move his arms, because his shoulders still work, but that is it. He is truly dependent on this woman. She rolls him over three times a night about every three hours. She gets him out of bed and into his wheelchair. She also has to dress him and take care of other things also as in body functions. This takes a very strong willed person, believe me. I used to go over and stay with him when she went out of town once a year, and it is a lot of work. It just amazes me what this woman has done for 25 years of marriage. There are not a lot of people who would do all that for somebody with out getting paid. I just had to talk about it today, because it just touched me what she has to go through on a daily basis. The most amazing thing about her is that she never bitches or complains about it. I know everybody can't be as strong as this woman, but we should all try at least.
Nothing much went on after we got him home. I came on home and we ordered in Pizza. I watched some Stargate Atlantis and been playing around on the computer here and there. I have to go paint the side of my parents house tomorrow and Shump is suppose to be coming over tomorrow afternoon to work on the site. Ya'll have a great weekend.
Be Cool.

Look
I learned how to add extra links. Happy me, Happy me. Maybe I will learn some more new tricks on vacation.
Time With Kids
I didn't post yesterday, becasue I am having to fight for time on the computer with all the kids that are over. I don't think if I would have taken them out for meals, that they would not have left the house. So I did what all ya'll would have done. I hooked the wireless to my PC so the kids could get online on the old computer. I had to think of something they were taking over. I was going to stay up late last night, but after golfing in the hot sun yesterday and drinking all the beer, I was out about 8pm last night. By the way, I have a new record for my golf game. I shaved three strokes off yesterday. We are only 4 strokes away from the new clubs. I shot a 103. I know, a lot of you shoot a lot better, but I am improving. My previous record was a 106. Once I break 100, I am going to get me some new clubs. Ones that actually fit me.
This has been a pretty good vacation, even though work calls at least three times a day. I got to be a couch potato today. Scifi Channel is showing all last seasons eposides of Stargate SG1, which I miss most of them. So except for leaving for Lunch today at Poncho's, I have been watching all the episodes of Stargate. Yes, I have a geeky side to me.
Only a couple of days of vacation left. They will be filled with honey-do's. My wife let me go golf and lay around all day. So now I will get back to the business of getting things done around here. It is still better than work. Yell at ya'll later.
Be Cool.

Still Going
This last weekend was great, and it is still going. I am just taking an extra long weekend, instead of a vacation. I am still taking the week off, just not going anywhere. We went camping out at Loyd Park on Joe Pool. It is great out there, because it is like traveling to a State Park without as many rules. It is also close to home in case you forget anything. My SIL, 2 BILs, and all the nieces and nephews were there. We had a great time and I actually got pretty drunk Saturday night. The best thing about this weekend is that my nephew that we raised from the time he was three months old until he was two was there. I have not been able to see him for three months since his mother moved back in with her boyfriend. Needless to say I been along time and some bad blood since April. This kid slept in our bed every night until his mom decided to move in with her now boyfriend, and I stress Now. So it has been hard on me with him gone. It made my day when he arrived Friday night and ran up to me, because he missed me. I was sacred that with him being only two and it being over 30 days that his memory of me would have gone. It wasn't and it was a great weekend. He is talking so well. The one comment he made that made my weekend was when he came up to me and said "Colby my name is A_____." I am not putting his name on here just like the other kids, but from now on you will know him by Little One. I was so impressed that he could say my name, because all the other little ones have a hard time pronouncing it. We had a blast, we played and talked, and just sat around having a great time. He was well mannered also. I am working on getting his mother to let us see him once a month. Who knows.
We played a lot of horse shoes this weekend and ate a lot of good food. I won a lot of games, because I am the self pronounced Horse Shoe King. (JK, but I did pretty well.) My BIL and I cooked up 3 briskets and a mess of chicken. We all had a good time this weekend and never had a problem this weekend.
The only thing I missed was checking out the blog sites this weekend. I got up on Friday morning and checked a few from my phone, but I didn't do that the rest of the weekend. I knew if I did, I would want to come back into town and respond and talk to everybody. So maybe next year I will go wireless out there, just to stay in touch.
Sounds like everybody had a great time on the fourth as I was reading. I will blog some more later.
Be Cool.
