What an evening on the blogasphere

There were some really great post out there tonight. There was everything about blogging and how it has changed the world to Shaved kitties or hairy ones.( Bald is beautiful. ) I think I am really getting addicted to this. When Shump comes over this week and teaches me how to link to other peoples sites in my stories it will be better.

Work was alright. They are still playing the hush, hush game, but I am still going on vacation and won't have to worry about it until the 11th after tomorrow. Our month is going good. It is nice being ahead of the game before the last day of the month. I actually got off work at a reasonable time. Very unusual this time of the month. Went to school and worked out. I think I spoke a little too soon on not be sore though. Man, I can really feel it today.

After school I stopped by a buddy of mine's house. We shot the shit for a little while and he is getting a A/C ducting system ready for us when we go camping this weekend. I know, what a pussy. FU, I have slept outside without a tent, without a cot, and in the jungle and national forest. I am through with all that. Since I have been out of the Army, I sleep in tents now and since a couple of years ago I bring an A/C unit. There's nothing like being out in the wide open, sleeping in a tent, and having it a nice 65 degree's in July in TX. We also have to do it because Tammy can't stand the heat due to her MS. I still would have it there even if that wasn't the story.

ONE MORE DAY OF WORK UNTIL VACATION. I can't wait. Keith if you are reading this call me because I would like to golf at least once on my vacation.

That's it for now. To all of you bloggers out there keep it up. You know you couldn't go without it.

Be Cool.

Not Too Bad

I am not as sore as I thought I was going to be today. Worked sucked today. As you all know my boss is quitting and everything is going to be loaded onto my shoulders, which in turn should mean a raise. Who knows now. I went in with a few questions on how things are going to be after he leaves, and they start with "I can't say anything right now" shit. I swear to God I hate when these corporate A-holes start this shit. I wanted to get a girl I know to be hired on to help me, because she already knows a lot about warranty and I would not have to train her that much. Shump get your mind out of the gutter, it is my wife's niece's friend. They told me there are two ahead of her in line, but to turn in her resume. So I ask them who they are and they told me they can't tell me. So then I ask, "am I going to have any say so who it is going to be?" Guess what their fucking answer was. "NO". Fucking horsepussies. I told them I was not going to train my new boss. If they brought someone in ahead of me, they better know there shit. This sucks since our company got bought out. So who knows what the fuck is going to happen, but I am still taking my vacation next week.

On another note I want to bitch about. Ever since my money out of my checks has been going into the stock fund at work the fucking stock has been going down. That shit better pick up or ya'll better start buying some of our stock. JK. I don't know shit about stocks so I figured this was the only way I was ever going to buy some. Maybe it will work out, maybe it won't. Who knows. I would have just pissed the money away anyways.

School went alright tonight. I worked out and I am feeling pretty good. I think I am going to stick with this working out shit. I am tired of having this spare tire.

Enough bitching tonight. Yell at ya'll later.

Be Cool.

I feel like the Hulk

Man, it has been over 5 years since I lifted weights in the gym, and my body is yelling at me right now. Tonight was the first night in class where we got to lift weights and the last lecture class for this semester. Thank God. Now all we do for the rest of the week is workout. I lifted weights tonight and worked on my upper body strength. I had a hard time driving home. I lifted some good weights, but afterwards my body said " Where the hell did that come from." I haven't lost a lot of strength, but I have lost some endurance. Just ask my wife. I am dreading tomorrow. Oh well, I have been wanting to get back into shape any ways.

I got home tonight to a wonderful surprise. No my wife was not making it with another woman, but it was close. She had supper made for me. Trust me this is a treat in my house. Then low and behold my mother-in-law stops by and brings 10 packages of chicken and 10 packages of steaks she got on sale from Kroger. 10 for 10, but they even reduced that to like 60 cents a package. We will be eating good in the cowboy Colby Hacienda for a while.

Three more days until my vacation starts. Man I am so ready for it. Especially since it is official I am getting a promotion. We just have to talk money now. My boss's last day is going to be Thursday. He is just tired of the shit at work. What he is really tired of is that he is not the head man in charge at work now. Our department falls under service so now he had a boss, and he didn't like that too much. Oh well, his loss my gain hopefully. I won't be doing his job for the same amount of money I am making now. I just don't know how much more they are going to pay me yet.

Well I am off to take a shower of my stinky ass, go look at other blogs.

Be Cool.

Sunday Review Again

It was a pretty good day. We got up around 10 and got ready to go to church. After church we met up with Mom & Dad for lunch. Ya'll all know me, I am never going to pass up a free meal and especially since Dad pays for the whole family on Sunday's. That saves me 30 to 50 dollars. It depends on how many kids I have with me that day. We really didn't do anything after that for the afternoon. I got to take my Sunday nap, which I haven't been able to do in a while. I felt great when I got up. The Eich's had a BBQ tonight. We took the girls home to their Dad's and headed over there. Michelle is a great cook. She made Pork and a delicious potato casserole. It was great getting caught up with everybody. Kimmy & Timmy were there. Also the Moon's with their son Jake. Man that kid has grown and is smart too. Shakey and BC were there. We had a good time and some good food.

Just one more week before my vacation. Actually just 4 days. I can't wait. I haven't taken a full week of vacation in 2 years. We are going anywhere, but I just usually take one to two days off at a time. I am going to enjoy sleeping in and playing a little golf. Even if it is going to be by myself, because everybody is at work.

We are going camping at Joe Pool with Tammy's family for the 4th, but the rest of the time will be at home.

Nothing else really going on. I have my final for my class on the 5th. It is not going to be that bad. This class is so fucking boring. I am glad it is almost over.

Hope ya'll have a great week.

BE COOL.

IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIIVE!!!!!!

Finally my PC is back up and running. My brother, God Bless him, got the pc working again. Yahooooo. He called me today when I was at work. I went in to soak up the last bit of overtime I am going to be getting. I go salary on the 1st of July. I go on vacation that day, what a coincidence. A lot has been going on since my last post. We are still in the house, trying to pay off a few things before we move into an apartment. Mostly I have been just working and going to school. Somehow I am still broke. Last week I almost seemed like a regular up @ the B. This week we are just too low on money. The funny thing about it is that Tammy was the one who suggested to go up there more than I did. I think she misses her babysitter (Video game on the bar).

It's that time again. The end of the month is here. At least there is a holiday after the end of the month. I can't wait to go on vacation.

Tammy is hurting a lot again. They have tried changing up her medication, but it is not doing any good at the present. She is a tough girl, but it has got to suck being in pain all the time. That is one of the symptoms of MS. So ya'll keep her in your prayers. We were up most of the night, because it hurt her to lay down. I wish there was a shot or vaccine for this disease, but there's not so we just trudge along. I am so proud of how she is doing.

I am going to try and put an image on this website so if it doesn't show up, at least I tried.
Shump really needs to get over here and help me tweak this site. HINT HINT.

Wow that really worked. Now I just have to get some pics downloaded on my pc.

**note pic is from Shumpy's site taken by his Treo.***

Can you see the happiness in my face that my PC is back up and running.

Talk to ya'll later.

Be Cool.

PC still down

Well the PC @ home is still down. Actually it is not at home it is up at my brother's work and he hasn't gotten around to seeing what the problem is. I am just going to have to ship my wife over to his house to stay so she can play here poker online. I bet that'll get him to working on my PC. My brother is such a lazy ass. For those that don't know. My brother is nearly 15 years older than I am. He doesn't get in a hurry about anything. What can you say though, he is doing it for free, or he better be.

Just got done doing a Step Test to see how out of shape I am. I faired pretty well.

Well I got to get. I have to go home and fix Tammy's truck. It died today. It needs a new battery. When it rains it pours. At least that job is not a hard one to do.

Be Cool.

Big PC Problems

I have not been able to post since the computer crashed. I think I caught a virus or something. I was running norton and updated it and it found some adware and I followed the instructions and used the tool. So when the computer restarted some of my operating system was corrupted or deleted. It won't even reformat my windows, so I am taking it to my brother to fix. He conviently works @ Comp USA. Hopefully he can get it fixed, but I will try to post this week from school.

If any of you need to get a hold of me email me at staatsc@rush-enterprises.com (work email so keep it sorta clean or I will checking my email up here at school some. cowboycolby@hotmail.com

Hopefully this week we will be back up and running at the house. I don't think Tammy can go with out her online poker for a week.

Be Cool.

PC Problems

We are having P.C. problems and I don't mean Physco Cindy Problems. We could not get online for a little bit. So I am writing from school. I broke the fat meter. The one that tells you how much fat content your body is. I was so fat I broke the damn thing. Not really. The 1977 pos that they used had a short in it so when it was my turn to find out my body mass index it quit working. I think the fat guy before me broke it. Na it was the electric cord to it had a short in it and it wouldn't stay working long enough to get a read. So it will be tomorrow before I find out how fat I am.

Today at work was alright. Nothing really going on, but Kim our cashier, who is Big Mike's wife, put her two weeks notice to go work at Kenworth (our competitor). She is not quiting thank God, because she got offered another position with more pay. I ought to try this. Knowing my luck they would tell me " Ok, have a nice life and I wouldn't have a job." We can't afford that though.

Well Tammy and I have to pay off a few things on our Credit and then we can get the apartment. We should be moved into our new home by July 7th.

Sorry there was no Sunday review, so I will let you know what happened the day after writing drunk.

Saturday got up and went golfing w/ Trent the Bartender @ riverside. We had a great time, but I was hungover from hell. I did tie the all time Cowboy Colby golf record. I shot a 106. No new clubs yet. I promised myself once I shot under a 100 that I would get myself new clubs. So that will be a little longer. I shot a 60 on the front 9 and a 46 on the back nine. Now if I can do that on the front 9 I will be getting some new clubs. After golfing I went home and laid up like a crack whore. The hangover and the heat really took it out of me. Tammy went to play bingo with her sister and her mother. She won about 150.00. We can really use the money.

Sunday we celebrated my mother's 60th birthday. It was great. Didn't really do anything after that.

Well Tammy is her to pick me up from school, becasue the Jeep is broke down again. So I will continue this latter.

Ok, I am back. Tammy picked me up and we went to the Wild One's play-off game tonight. I think that is going to be the last game I go to this summer. They lost 9-8 in the last inning. The first two innings were long as hell and the other team had them 8-3 until the last inning. The Ump's made some bad call's but what are you going to do. His team lost in the second inning when they made so many errors. The reason I won't be making anymore games is because of the attitudes the team had after the game. I know they are young, but the coaches just let them have fits and mess around. I get so agitated with them. They can only lose one more game. I know I probably will go to the next game, but I got to act tough.

Tomorrow night I have to fix the Jeep. The clutch master cylinder went out, so the clutch is not working yet. Oh the joys of owning a jeep out of warranty. There is no way I could afford a shop. The price goes up when its a Jeep, and they aren't that hard to work on.

Well its late and I have to work tomorrow. Have a great week.

Be Cool.

Just out there.

Trying a new thing. Writing while I am drunk. This is hard. I have already backspaced more times than there is characters so far. Sorry I haven't been writing, but I don't get on the computer when I am stressed or depressed. Life kinda sucks right now. We are down sizing and going from a house to an apartment. We are not having much luck getting into an apartment. We have to clean up some of our credit. I know we will get through this, because if we can beat the wheelchair, I know we can beat this obstacle. For those of you that don't know, my wife was in a wheelchair last year because of MS. That had to be the scariest year of my life. We got through it though together and with family. The funny thing about it though is I never got depressed or looked at it like I was failing. I don't know why I am letting this move back into an apartment get to me like it is, but I feel like I am failing my wife. I know financely it will be the best thing for us since I am going back to school for my nursing degree, but I still feel like I am letting her down. We will come through this with flying colors, but I hate feeling like this.

Ok enough oh poor petty me. On to what has been going on. We only made some of our numbers at work. Oh Well. Maybe somebody at work should be doing their job. I am not talking about me there. Tammy and I have been trying to get back into an apartment, but the past is catching back up to us. We are going to take care of it and should be in an apartment by July. I have been going to school all week and this class is boring as hell, but it looks like it is going to be a easy A. Concepts of Physical Activity. Maybe I will get back in shape with this class though.

We didn't go out of town like we wanted to this weekend. We are going to take care of business and get us an apartment this weekend. The Wild One has his State Bowling Tournament this weekend in Houston. We really wanted to make it, but we have to take care of business here though. We really wanted to make it, but we just can't afford it. So we are staying around here.

We went to the Princesses and the Softball Queen's final game tonight. This game was to see who won first place in the Rec league. The Princesses team won by a land slide, but watch out for the softball Queen's team next year. It was hard because we wanted both teams to win.

We ended up at the B after that. There was a pretty good turn out. Rich, Eric, Shumpy, Kim, B.C., Melinda, Bob Barker, Charlie and us were up there. I had a few too many shots, but hey it was fun. Amber and her husband showed up,(they are in town for a wedding), were there also. We had a good time and I got a little tipsy.

Now I am home and trying my first publish drunk. So if I ramble and jump around. F.U. I am drunk. That's it for this post. I am going to my first Charity Party tomorrow at Growler's and going to play golf tomorrow. Hopefully this weekend will turn out alright. Ya'll be safe and have a Good time

I will leave you with these words of wisdom from a new singer Bobby Pinson.
"Don't ask me how I know."

Be Cool.

Good Luck

This one is for Keith, F. U.

Good luck on the boats.

Didn't even fell like it.

This is the first time in years that I am not feeling hungover. It usually takes me two or three days to get over the Canoe trip. It didn't even feel like a holiday. It did feel like it was suppose to be a holiday still this morning on my way to work though. There was hardly any traffic. I don't know if it was because it was the day after a holiday or because the bridge is partly out at Story Ln & Hwy 183, but there was no traffic this morning. I got to work in no time at all. Tammy brought me lunch and said that the Hwy was all crowded, so I guess everybody was just late to work this morning except for me.

Worked sucked as usual. End of the month stuff. I got a lot of work done early today though. I didn't stay late because tonight was the first day of summer school for me. I am taking Concepts of Physical Activity. It looks like it is going to be a blow off class. I really need that now so I can bring up my GPA. I will also be working out in this class, which is not going to hurt me either. I could lose about 20 pounds and I would be happy. We will see. From what I have figured out though all you have to do to get an "A" in this class is show up. So no more skipping for me. In the second semester of summer I am taking Comp I. This will be the 3rd time of me taking this class. I took it in 1990 at Tarleton State University, which I failed only because of absentees. I actually passed the class with an "A", but the teacher failed me because I missed more than 9 classes that semester. It was the first year that they had passed that law, so you know they had to make sure everybody was in class. The other times I have had to drop it because of work schedule changes. Hopefully the third time is a charm, or is it the 4th time. Don't know, don't care. I just want to "gitter done"

Nothing else is going on. I don't have to study for this new class so I am going to play some baseball on the X-box. I am playing the Rangers in a franchise mode and guess what, we have lost both games so far. I am trying to keep it real.
Talk to ya'll later.

Be Cool.

Sunday Review #3

Well it was a pretty good Sunday. Not really going to review the week, because I have been a good little blogger and you will just have to scroll down to read what went on this week. We got up and went to church. Yes, I said church. We go every once in a while. We went to a new church for us. We went to the First United Methodist Church of Euless. We liked it a lot. It reminded me of my old church and the service was only an hour long. Not bad. We are probably going to join.

After church we met my parents out for lunch at CiCi's Pizza. When we were leaving a friend of ours called and asked us to meet her up at Lowes. I just love that store. I like it a lot more than Home Depot. They have more stuff at Lowes. Speaking of Lowes, congrat's Jimmy Johnson on the win tonight. Man was he fast tonight, or at the last. I only watched the last forty laps. Any ways we meet her at Lowes and she wants me to haul a door and frame home for her, because all she has is a Jeep. We got the door and I took it back to her place. I ended up installing the door for her. I know, what a great guy. Tammy and her sat in the kitchen and talked while I installed the door. I was real proud of my self. It didn't take me long and I only had to install it once. Usually it takes me at least twice because the I fuck it up the first time. I am turning into a regular handyman now that I am moving out of my house and back into an apartment.
So we get done with the door and come home to get the girl's stuff ready to take them home. After we drop them off we had to stop by my mom and dad's, beaus they wanted to talk to us and crunch the numbers about moving back into an apartment. We finally made them see the light. We dropped by the B so Tammy could get some potato soup and see the Babysitter (her video game at the end of the bar that she plays on while I drink). I watched the end of the Nextel race and now we are home.

We are going over to Mom and Dad's tomorrow for the holiday. It still sucks that we aren't camping right now. Just doesn't feel like Memorial Day. Next year we are going even if nobody else is. Hope all of you have a great day tomorrow and be safe. If anybody needs a ride, let me know. I won't be drinking because I will be at my parents for most of the day.

Be Cool.

Big News

Well Tammy and I are selling the house and moving back into an apartment. We have crunched the numbers and we can save over $1,500.00 a month. Since Tammy's pay has been cut and I am back in school, we have decide to do this. No more mowing the lawn. Yeah. We have come to realize that we are just apartment people. I was afraid that the kids would have a problem with us moving back into an apartment, but they are excited because we will be able to go swimming all the time. Which is a God send, because it is good cheap fun. We will be getting another house once I graduate from nursing school. I have really enjoyed having a house, but I am going to really enjoy having money again.

The only part that really sucks about this is that Marketing Dave is building a house behind mine and our neighbor across the street is really cool. So if ya'll need lawn care equipment come see me. We are also having a huge garage/moving sale on June 10. The prices are going to be cheap to free, just take the stuff. Tammy and I went to look for apartments yesterday and we found the one we are going to move into. We are moving to the Mandolion on 360 on the north side of Midcities Rd. So if anybody wants to help us move we would appreciate it. We are going to start moving in on June 10. Yes I know the same weekend as the garage sale, there is always reasoning behind my madness.

Nothing else really going on this weekend. Going to My Mom's on Monday to spend time with them and play cards.

One piece of bad news is that my email will change and it will take me a little while to get back online once we move because the only cable they have there is through SBC and guess what. I owe them money. I will be updating my site from the business center, but please forgive me if it is not everyday. I will being getting hooked back up to the internet as soon as possible once we move in, it might just take me a week or so, or in SBC terms probably a month. There is a great business center and workout room that I will have access to 24hrs a day.

Also we have a Fridgerator for sale if anybody is interested. We are selling it for $200. It does not have an icemaker, but it is really big and fairly new. So let me know if any of you want it. Also Bull is looking for a good home, if anybody wants a 6 month old full blooded Blue Heeler. I just can't see making him live in an apartment. He has all his shots up to date and is free to a good home. I will miss him, but I will not have a blue heeler in an apartment. It is too cruel.

Hope all you you have a great Memorial Weekend, and Shump where is this block party at?

Go Duece

Thanks for the comment Rich. I knew if I begged a little bit someone would comment. I know it is squirrelly, but oh well. Work sucked today, and will for the next two business days. Thank God it is a holiday weekend even if we aren't going on the Canoe trip. That does suck, but Next year will be great.

Shump went to the Kinky Pint night @ the Flying Saucer. I wish I could have made that, but it was on the wrong side of the airport and I am too poor right now. I would have liked to have met Kinky Friedman though. Ben got me turned onto his books. They are actually good reads. I am definitely voting for this guy. I think it will be the second time I ever voted in my life. The only other time I voted was when my dad was running for a spot on the city council. He didn't get too many votes. Probably just my family. It was right after he retired. I guess he was getting bored. I think he lost to the dead guy. JK. Look another internet word. I'm getting this shit down.

Got off work and we had 3 softball games tonight. The Princesses team had a game @ 6pm and the Softball Queen had a double header after that. They both won. Their teams are 1st (the Princesses team) and 2nd (the Softball Queen's team). They play next Friday for the Championship. If the Princesses team wins its over. If the Softball Queen's team wins they have to play again, because it would tie them up. Wish I could be there, but we will be in Houston for the Wild One's State Bowling Tournament. Yeeha. As you can tell I am such a big fan of bowling. Its all for the kids though.

Well the girls are over and want to get on the computer, because they are out of school. Plus I got to go to bed so I can get up and go to work in the morning. Talk to all of you later.

Be Cool.

The only person who leaves comments on this site is Shumpy. I know some of you might not be checking regularly, because I haven't been the greatest at writing every night. I am still kinda of new to this, so it will take me a bit to get everything right on this site. If I can ever get Shump to come over it would be great. I do have a site meter, but I haven't figured out how to put it on the site yet, but they have been sending the Zero Report regularly.

Congrat's to Shumpy for making the C list on blogebrity. I didn't even make the Z list. I guess I need to update a little more than I have been. I am proud of Shumpy though. He has made a pretty good site. You are my Blog Idol.

Not a lot really went on at work today. Just end of the month stuff. My boss asking me if we are going to make our numbers, and me assuring him that we will. Got off work and actually got to stay home tonight. No softball, baseball, or Concerts to go to for my stepkids. Tammy cooked supper, which is always great.

I watched two shows tonight that pissed me off and I knew ABC was going to piss me off, just like they do every year about this time. I watched the finale of Lost and Alias. Everybody kept telling me that all was going to be explained on Lost tonight. Did they though, Hell no. They kept us hanging on until next season. Alias I thought was going to end and be done. No, they had to stick a car crash with a new secret to come out in the end. I don't know why I let these shows get to me. I should know better by now. Oh well, I guess we will have to wait until the fall or whenever the TV gods at ABC decide to start the new season before our lives can be satisfied on the stories of these two shows. It does keep us watching the boob tube. Yes my name is Cowboy Colby and I am a TV addict.

That's all for today boys and girls. The weekend is almost here.

Be Cool.

Long Overdue

To all my fans out there I didn't know I had, I am sorry for not updating. This has been one of the craziest weeks in a long time. Wednesday night we had an intervention for one of my buddies. He is leaving his wife and really fucking up. Not going to go into many details, but his brother flew in and we tried to set him straight last Wednesday. Doesn't look like he is going to do the right thing, but oh well, what can you do.

So anyways my buddy flew in from AZ for the intervention and also his youngest brother's wedding. Thursday night was the rehearsal and dinner. The groom's dad rented out the private bar in Billy Bob's. Free food and beer, you know I was there. I had to dance with all the older ladies later that night that were in for the wedding. It is a curse sometimes being such a good dancer. My favorite dance was with my friends little girl though. She is 5 and I had to carry her, but at least she didn't step on my feet. Went home at a reasonable time, because I had to work the next day and I couldn't take off, because I had already taken Thursday off. Tammy got a hold of her oldest son and she flew out to see him in Gulf Port, MS. She was gone for the whole weekend. Yahooo, time to party. Yeah right. I went out Friday and went to Benigan's with Glen (my buddy from AZ). We had a good time and I got a little drunk. I didn't think I had drank that much, until on Saturday I went to the Wild One's baseball game. Of course it had to be the hottest day of the year so far, and I was feeling a little, OK, a lot hung over. I stayed for most of the game, then I had to leave and go home and lay up like a crack whore. It was nice. I have not been able to do that since I lived with Link. I ordered a pizza online. Man I am getting s0 computer savvy it is scary. Pretty soon I won't even need to leave the house. Yeah right.

I finally get up off the couch about 9pm and meet Glen and a few friends up at Razzoo's. I ordered one beer and drank about 1/2 of it. It was water from then on. I can not drink 2 days in a row anymore. God I am getting old and it sucks.

Tammy flew in Sunday and we just kind of rested around the house. It was great having her home. I don't sleep in the bed when she is not here for some reason. I sleep on the couch. Weird I know, but that is the way it is.

Monday sucked at work, but we got a lot knocked out. We had a staff meeting at the end of the day that was pretty fucking useless. They came in asking how we should do things to improve, but didn't come up with anything. If I wanted to have a pow wow, I would have gone to Indian Council. They waste our time having meetings, then not telling the people you need to get their shit straight. SOS. Gets real old. I would have rather they came in and they bitched us out and said this is how we are going to do it, then waste my time by saying " What do we need to do to fix the problems?" Then not come up with anything. Blah Blah Blah. I am so ready to get through Nursing School. I am taking two classes this summer just so I can get it done faster. Hopefully I will start NS in the Fall of '06.

Tuesday was pretty good. Got a lot knocked and still had some time to F.O. (fuck off). Went to the Wild One's baseball game tonight. They won 16 to 10. They are tied for 1st right now. The play off game is June 4th, but we will be in Houston, because the Wild One is in a State bowling tournament.

Went up to the B for a beer and a shot. Tammy had her potato soup. Pretty good crowd. Growler, Peachy, Shumpy, Kim, Crash, Suzzane, Berry and even Beka was there. Thank You Beka for the shot by the way.

Then I came home and read my emails and updated the blog for ya'll.

Now for the challenge that Shumpy sent. Hope I get this right.

Back again

Count them two days in a row. Not a lot happened today. Went to work. SOS. Got home and downloaded musicmatch.com so I could get my free downloads from Jack in the Crack. I have been eating free food off them all last week. I am such a sucker for free stuff. Anyways I download the player and had to go to the Wild One's baseball game. They did great. I thought they were going to lose. In the first inning the other team got up 7 to 1. His team came back though and beat them 13 to 8. The W.O. popped up his first at bat and got a single his second at bat. He seemed to do better once his dad got there. He didn't have much action in center field tonight though. None of the other team could get it out of the infield.

Came home after the game and download or should I say tried to download to free songs courtesy of Jack in the Crack. As always nothing in this life is free. The first song I tried to download errored out, but of course they charged me for it. I have a message in to the site to give me credit, because the second one downloaded just fine. I downloaded Dragula by Rob Zombie and tried to download "the King is gone" by No Show Jones (George Jones for all you youngins.) I know two different worlds of music but what can I say, I have wide horizons of likes and dislikes.

I was going to try and figure out how to post pics to this site, but I am tired of hearing the bachelor in the background that Tammy is watching. How the hell can women get into this show. The only other show that is worse is the bachelorette. I don't know about where ya'll come from, but the girls in my town that date 25 guys at once are sluts. To each their own though. That should get someboy fired up. So I think I am going to go to bed and watch TV.

Not a long post, but it is the thought that counts.

Be Cool.

Sunday Review 2

Well I didn't stay with what I said. I promised I would do better at blogging. This has been a very busy weekend. Friday night the Princess had her banquet with choir and we got her home around 1am. We got up early Saturday and went to Home Depot and Walmart. Then we went to my niece's daughter's birthday. It was great to see them since they moved to Arkansas with her husband. He is about to go into the Navy. He is going in as a missile tech and has dreams about being a Seal. I don't think he has it in him, but you never know. The little prick has already run off on her once when the pressure of being a daddy and husband got to rough on him. I still wish him the best, because she is my niece. After the birthday party we came home. The Softball Queen went out to the dirt track races with a friend of hers and Tammy had to get the Princess ready for her second banquet for the weekend. She had her band banquet Saturday night. We got her dropped off at that only fifteen minutes late, but you would have thought it was an hour. Oh how the love comes out between mothers and daughters when they are trying to hair for a banquet. Tammy and I went to see a movie. We saw Crash with Sandra Bullock. It was an excellent movie. Really made you think. Great writing, you never knew what was going to happen next. Growler and PMP were there. We hooked up with them after the movie and went to the "B". Tammy and I only stayed for a little while. Shumpy and Kim were there. Tammy was exhausted and I really wasn't in the drinking mood. I know a lot of you are surprised about that.

I took Tammy home and watched a little TV. I had to go pick up the Princess from her banquet. When I got there I went into the hotel thinking that she would want to stay a little longer, but she was so tired from going to both banquets that all she wanted to do was get something to eat, because they served chicken at both banquets. So I took her to Taco Bell. We got to spend a little father - daughter time. I enjoy the talks she and I have when I take her places. When she got home we downloaded the pics to the computer so she could put them on her Zanga site. It is like a blog site for high schoolers. One of these days I will learn how to link the pics to this site. Shumpy is going to have to come over and teach me how. Obie One Kanobie your my only hope. (Yes Shump, I know I probably misspelled it.) So needless to say we were tired as shit today. We got up around 10 am and cleaned house a little and went to have Birthday lunch with my folks for the Princesses Birthday. After that we were suppose to go 4 wheeling, but my buddy Ireland decided to go to Strokers for a bike rally. I can't say I blame him. So we didn't go, because I was not going to get stuck down in the trails with out a winch. So we took naps. The Softball Queen had come home today feeling sick. We took the kids home and stopped by the "B" for some supper and a few drinks. Ireland showed up and showed off his new bike. He got a "Big Dog". I had never heard of this bike, but it was nice. It must be nice to have money. We had a good time and Shump showed up. We all got to meet Ireland's new girlfriend Beth, and she was very nice. Tammy likes her so that is a good thing. We tabbed out and came home. Nothing to exciting about the weekend, but we still had a good time. So until the next time we meet. Have a good week, and don't let the man get you down.

Be Cool.

Bad Cowboy

I have been a bad cowboy these last few days. I am sorry I haven't updated the blog everyday, but some of us have to go to bed so we can get up and get to work on time. This week has been hectic. Tuesday night was the Princesses choir concert. She had a small solo in the presentation. She sounded great. We thought it was only going to be an hour long presentation, but it lasted 2 1/2 hours. They did a great job, but I can only listen to so many Show Tunes. Their theme this year was 100 years of Broadway. Yes it was a beat down, but we enjoyed it for the kids. After that we had to stop by my mother's so we could drop off the mother's day gift, since she was out of town on mother's day. We staid and talked with them for too long. My oldest sister was staying the night, because she is redoing the upstairs rooms. My sister has turned in a real "Martha Stewart" type of lady. She redid my old room. I thought is was going to be all girlie by the way they were talking about it, but it turned out really cool.

Wednesday. Went to work, blah, blah. After work we had our weekly golf scramble at Bear Creek golf course. Our team nearly won. We shot 3 under. Not bad seeing as our team had the handicap. Me. Some Cat engine rep's were there and we were drinking on there expense account. Man how I miss having an expense account. So we got a little tipsy. After golf I came home and fed the dog and waited on Tammy to get home from shopping with the girl's. The Princess has two banquets this weekend. She has her band and choir banquets going on. So when she got home, I wasn't feeling any pain and decided we needed to go up to the B. I called peanut and she met us up there. When we got up there Keith a.k.a. Nicole was there. He staid for about 5 minutes because he had to go home and get his beauty sleep. I should have followed suit, but oh no. I just knew I could get up and get to work on time. Hell I wasn't that drunk. Yet. Peanut showed up and we got caught up. She has been busy with school and she is still a newlywed. We don't get to see her that much so it was good to have a couple of beers together. Man that girl can talk. Her and Tammy talked up a storm last night. Rich showed up in his Dodgers Baseball outfit, or at least the pants. pin stripes and all. He had been at a softball game of course. Christi showed up also. B.C. Made it up. We all drank for awhile, but I hit my point and was wanting shots real bad so I knew it was time to go home. We said our goodbyes and went home. When we got home, Tammy asked me if I was going to update my blog. I was too tired and didn't want to try and type drunk. Who knows if it would have made sense or was even legible. So I went to bed. Tammy staid up and played poker online and came to bed. I did get a real nice surprise about 4am this morning. Tammy wakes me up and wants to know if I want to have sex. So being the stupid guy I am that is still drunk I say no. Then as I am going back to sleep this voice in my head starts screaming, "wake up you stupid ass she never asks for it. So the little head woke the big head up and we had us a nice little romp. This is where I messed up though. When we got done after hours upon hours of great sex, yeah right you know I lasted a whole 5 minutes, I should have gotten in the shower and just got up and went into work early. No I have to go back to sleep. It gets worse. So I get up with the alarm clock and jump in the shower at 6. I get out and then decide smartly to lay down for just a minute. I finally wake up at 7:30 and rush off to work with the biggest cowlick on the back of my head because I laid back down with my hair wet. So I got ribbed about it all day at work.

Work sucked as usual. Close repair orders, cut customers checks, eat lunch, do the same again and again. Got off work and had to head out to the softball fields in Haltom. Both the girls and the Wild One had games tonight. We could not make the Wild One's game so we went to watch the girls. The Princess had a double header tonight. They slaughtered the first team 17 to 2, then the second game was against the Softball Queen's team. At first it looked like the Princesses team was going to run away with it, then the Softball Queen's team came out hitting. It turned out to be a pretty good game. The Princesses team won 12-8, but it was the most challenging game they had this year. Kinda glad we didn't have to take them home tonight. I imagine they are fighting about right now.

That brings us up to the present. So with that I am going to sign off for the night, because my lovely wife is sitting here looking over my shoulder and pacing back and forth waiting to play her poker online. I promise never to keep ya'll waiting this long again, if I can help it. I know all the exciting escapades in my life are just what everybody is waiting to hear about. LOL. Talk to ya'll tomorrow.

BE COOL.

yes this is my saying Rich.

P.S. got an email from Stinky Dave today. It was good to hear from him. He sent me his work schedule and what days they have the kids. Tammy and I are wanting to go up there for a few days. If anybody is interested in what days he has off I have his schedule. Trust me if you want to go see him, you will want to look at his work schedule before you plan a trip up there. He works shift work and it is goofy as hell.
